Summoning the grammar police is usually proof you've lost. Just saying
We know that's not true son. It was a total victory on my part. I only ended up here because I was checking on recruiting news and went to an article on Peyton Bowen. I just decided to stick around and educate people on why OU would be a smart choice for the young man. That's all.

Imagine if Ed O gets hired by Venables and this dude is like who knew there was a language barrier to overcome along with the massive talent gap. It’s like a whole mother country in the SEC. Lol

You should go check out the Dante Moore thread. Curious to know your opinion on ketchup.

2/10 troll. My jimmies remain unrustled.
I kind of thought the same thing. I was hoping to really be inflamed at this point. He's a rather tame and uninteresting specimen, isn't he?

Was this a good troll job?

The only thing I will give you is that you have seemed to unite Irish fans that have very different personalities and beliefs. I thank you for that. Everything else you have posted is best described as something I scrape off the bottom of my shoe.

That's what I've been trying to tell you all along. It was a garbage ass TEAM. Venables and his staff didn't all of a sudden forget how to coach football. I don't understand why you guys act like the talent doesn't matter. Trust me, it does.

We're not taking about taking a group of misfits and coaching them up to be a nice little team that tries to play spoiler. We're talking about trying to turn a soft team into a killer team when you inherit guys that simply aren't killers. It's two totally different things. This is not a movie boys, it's real life and in real life, our team lost way more contributors than people realize. And that's off a team that squeaked by all year with all offense and no defense. 6-6 turned out to be a miracle.

If we wanted to take the "take some scrubs and coach em up" approach, we would've hired a guy like Shane Beamer. But that's not what we're after. And I'm just using them as an example. What you saw from South Carolina this year is the best they'll ever do. That's not gonna be the case with OU. The 6-6 crap you saw this year won't last forever. It's not just a rebuild, it's an all out makeover. 9-3 or even 10-2 seemed realistic and absolutely would've been if some of those guys were still around, but it was not gonna happen with this group.

What I'm trying to tell you is, most of the guys BV was playing this year were never gonna be the ones to get us to the next level. It's gonna be the guys in the 22-23 classes that are gonna be our future. Trust me, we know what's going on and if the majority of our fans thought it was just pisspoor coaching, we'd say it in a BIG way because we definitely don't hold back. But this is year one, and we're gonna reserve real judgment for a bit. If I turn out to be wrong, I'll gladly admit it, but as of now, my mindset is still "WE'RE COMIN"

Paging @Whiskeyjack about ROI and graduation rates for student athletes at OU and ND...

If a kid wants to stay at home and go to the local state university, that's cool. But to say you're educating us about smart choices... well

I live in the area of Tennessee that was formerly the Cherokee nation. There is a lot of history here about the Trail of Tears. The reason they called it that wasn’t for the arduous journey but the fact it ended in a shithole called Oklahoma. Maybe the worst thing the US government did to any indigenous people.

You’re a millennial aren’t you? Admit it.
He never did say how old he is. I'm guessing GenZ, but he could be an M.

I will admit, he's entertaining unlike his FB team this year.

That's amusing. Among the 3 Safeties OU has in the NFL currently two of them are 3rd stringers and the other is 2nd string. Meanwhile, not only is an ND education far superior, but we actually have produced some stellar Safeties in the last decade.

Harrison Smith has been one of the best in the league, a 6 time Pro Bowler with 933 Tackles and 34 Interceptions over a 10 year career. Obvious future Hall of Famer.
Kyle Hamilton was a 1st Round, Top 15 pick and has lived up to that status every bit his first year in Baltimore. He's a real playmaker.
Julian Love is also a starter and captain for the Giants, he leads the team in Tackles by a huge margin and also leads in INTs.

Those are just ND guys that are starters this year, something OU doesn't know anything about.
