Why didn't Bowen decommit from ND and commit to OU sooner? It seemed like all along he wanted to go to OU, especially with all of the visits he made.

I wish that OU was joining the SEC sooner than 2025 because I think that will tell how good of a player Bowen is. Although the B12 is all about offenses he will face tougher competition in the SEC.

To sum up his recruitment it is a slap in the face to MF and Notre Dame. I hope ND has a chance to slap him back in the face and have a chance to kick the shit out of OU.

Does anyone think he is a possible transfer portal candidate?

My guess is he has a hard time telling people no. He made relationships with the other recruits along with the coaches and was too chicken shit to tell them I’m having 2nd thoughts.

We will probably never know but I think it was always going to “whoever had the ball last”. Meaning whoever was in his graces on that day and the very time he was putting pen to paper. If the breeze was different that day or if he got just a little bit more syrup with his pancakes that morning things could have been different.

Had Peyton Bowen filled out his NIL correctly, he'd probably be at Oregon. But leaving out "a.m." on the form opened the door for OU to sign him.

His entire fiasco of a signing day was a migraine and a half to endure, but him choosing OU will help him be near his family when they really need each other.

Can't even begin to imagine what the parents are going through. My aunt and uncle had to endure that when my cousin died in a car wreck years ago. It was near family breaking.
