Went looking for that stupid f*cking photo he used as his avatar on 247 back then. Camera real close to his face, him wearing a Japanese-flag headband and pretending to karate chop. Couldn't find it unfortunately.

Yeah, I assumed that’s how he ended up over there. On3 went out and tried to buy independent team sites when they launched, and he had the independent Oregon site. Sports Illustrated did the same thing when they gobbled up sites/people for “Maven.”

Right now his profile links to a completely defunct scoop duck Twitter and doesn’t mention On3 but does mention “former ESPN and 247” so I assume that this was a relatively recent move.
