I'm very proud of myself.

Made air-fried buffalo wings and holy mother of god, they came out perfect.

Brined the wings in a brine of water, kosher salt, low sodium soy sauce, thyme, 3 cloves of crushed garlic and 2 tbsp of Franks. Let them sit in the fridge for 5 hours, blotted them dry, and then fried them for 10 minutes on each side at 375 and then an additional 3 minutes at 400, then finished them off in a sauce mix of 1/4 cup of Franks, 2 tbsp of melted butter, tbsp of Worcester sauce and a tbsp of garlic powder.

Very crispy, meat was unbelievably tender and flavorful and just the right amount of heat.
The air fryer is the most impactful culinary invention since the George Foreman grill.

The air fryer is the most impactful culinary invention since the George Foreman grill.

I pretty regularly will slice up a potato into nice and thin chips, mix on some type of seasoning, and just throw it in there at 400 for 16-20 minutes. Tastes as good as regular potato chips and much healthier.

Downside is the farts are out of control, but I can at least blame the dog.

Smoked oysters u say? How does that work?

Shuck em, leave them in the cup (the deep half of the shell and don't spill the brine), put whatever you want for seasoning on (or not) and smoke for about an hour at 200.

I’ll be honest, I just can’t do oysters.

You don't have to eat them raw on the half shell, if that's not your thing. There are about a million recipes for roasted oysters with all kind of shit on them that are great.
