2018 Hot takes and Predictions

Tell me what you expect this fall and/or make a bold prediction. I just watched some of the spring game and decided to throw a couple out there as I was watching:

1. Alohi Gilman will remind us of healthy Matthias Farley
2. Frosh WRs will combine for 8 TDs
3. Tight End will be used to the tune of 700+ yds receiving collectively and 9+ TDs

It's easy to forget just how productive Farley was in 2014. He ended the 14' season with 53 tackles, 6.5 TFL's, 3.5 sacks, and 4 INT's. If Alohi has those numbers this year, I'll be very pleased.

Love the thread idea. Your first one - that's bold? I'm really hoping that's his floor.

You realize Farley was playing really good ball with average to above average athleticism and was consistent when healthy? I'm guessing Gilman is similar in athleticism and hopefully a little quicker diagnosing. I guess we'll see but I'm not holding my breath on Harrison Smith-level play from our safeties. I'd be happy with a steady increase in all numbers.

I guess that isn't terribly bold but it'd be much better than we had last year.

**Lucky beat me to it, Farley had very solid stats as a safety.

I honest to God could care less about Wimbush's completion percentage. As long as his drive averages are long, point productive, and limits errors.

With that said, Brandon competes for Heisman.

Haha, I originally had over 60%, but that'd almost be an unreal improvement in accuracy season over season.
