<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Latest buzz:<br><br>- Foster falls to "Myles Jack" range<br>- Ross, Mixon, Cook Rd2<br>- 2 QBs going top 10 (Trubisky, Mahomes?)</p>— Matt Miller (@nfldraftscout) <a href="https://twitter.com/nfldraftscout/status/855503314812895232">April 21, 2017</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

I was thinking "oh shit, if Foster drops to 30 then there is no way Pittsburgh passes on him". Then I read this...

Alabama's Reuben Foster failed drug test at combine - NY Daily News

He'd fit right in with Burfict and Pacman in Cincinnati

This is Mel's 'home run' scenario for the Browns????

Latest rumors are that the Saints are unlikely to trade with New England for Malcolm Butler and that the Jimmy Garoppolo trade by NE is also "not happening." If Butler walks after his contract is up next year, NE gets a third round compensation pick, so they would want more than that and multi-year contract that Butler wants is too pricey. Saints will probably build through the draft. NE's first pick will probably be 72 (in the third round).

If Cleveland (12 picks) does not trade up with the Jets, rumored trade up candidates would be narrowed to KC and Cincy. KC recently cut a starter on the DL and talk is of Jonathan Allen.

Of those teams rumored to trade down, the value chart shows:
San Francisco @ 2 - 2600 points
NJ Jets @ 6 - 1600
Buffalo @ 10 - 1300

Cincy @ 9 - 1350
KC @27 - 680
(Cleveland @ 12 - 1200)

Based on that, I could see Cincy (11 picks) trading with the Jets (7 picks) or KC (10 picks) trading up with Buffalo (6 picks).

i think the floodgates opened when Vince Young's score of 5 got leaked back in the day

Every other measurement is public and listed on a note card, why can't the mental measurements be too lol?

I get that and get that... but it's still supposed to be private unless something changed that I wasn't aware of... and they have all their scores...

Maybe they all "leaked" their scores so they could all say "hey I'm not dumb!"

But yeah, it IS supposed to be confidential.

I read somewhere the other day that it's the only confidential measurement because otherwise there would be rampant speculation as to how certain players were academically eligible, even if the test doesn't relate directly to IQ/intelligence.

I thought that was the purpose of the test, to test intelligence?

It tests intelligence, but not in the standard way. I've heard it described as "a guy can score a 32 on the ACT, and bomb the Wonderlic."

Scoring low on the Wonderlic doesn't mean you're dumb, and vice-versa.

However, it's also very possible that I heard wrong, and/or someone was just trying to justify how a bunch of dummies stay eligible in school.

Wait, so you're saying an Urb guy might be on the wrong side of the Law? Say it ain't so.

Projected first-round pick Gareon Conley accused of rape

According to the report, the accuser says she met Conley in an elevator and he asked her to have a foursome with another friend of his. The woman says she declined and offered to watch the other people have sex instead.

A short time later, the woman says Conley unbuttoned her pants and began to have sex with her. She claims she said, “No, stop, it hurts!” but he kept going until he finished. She says he then kicked her out of the hotel room.

Who goes up to a room to watch a stranger they met on the elevator in a threesome? Im not sure I'm buying her story.

Rumors picking up from Cincy reporters/blogs that the Bengals (11 picks!) could dump one or two of their extra picks to move up in the 2nd and grab Mixon before he's gone.

So conflicted.
