I'm having a couple of beers and doing film evals today of some of the recent commits, so get excited.
Kofi Wardlow: Like his size, like his straight forward get off the ball, but he's very awkward/slow side to side. Like the pick up though - no harm in it. Hopefully he can add some lateral quickness and obviously strength. Koon comparison: Bo Wallace. I give him a 3-star.
Myron Amosa: Was hoping for better athleticism, not fast and can't step to the side, but has tremendous size. Kind of looks like a giant Daniel Cage (Koon comparison) with slightly less nasty - he will be a valuable player though, especially if he gets stronger and plays with an edge. I also give him a 3-star.
Jafar Armstrong: PLAYER. Goes after the ball and catches it like a man. Koon comparison is Rhema Mcknight. 4-star.
Jeremiah Owusu-K: Tackles like a specimen. Doesn't have great athleticism, although he did start out his hudl video by flexing, so it was really hard not to give him a 4th star. Koon comparison, and I'm not sure how I feel about it, but a taller Mathias Farley. 3-star.
Jordan Genmarth Heath: I'm 1:06 into his film. STUD. Koon comparison: Taylor Mays. 5-star.
Jonathan McCollister: I know he's not recent, but I wanted to check him out. Watched his junior hudl film. This guy knows how to move in a phone booth. He can move - and move efficiently. Koon comparison: he's a poor man's Aaron Lynch to me. Just finds a way to not be bothered by blockers - low 4-star.
