I was referring to Redfield.
Ahh... misread your post. My bad.
I was referring to Redfield.
I think Tranquill will be a captain if he starts.
I am really worried about CRob's concussion. I hope that he returns, but only if he feels comfortable. That kid has too bright a future to risk anymore head trauma.
DT recruit Greg Rodgers singled out Cage and said that he expects him to be really good this year. He saw a practice where Cage looked really good. Pretty important piece to the following season is Cage playing everydown and doing so at a high level.
Could a breakout year for Cage swing his brother into our corner? Or is it understood that he is a 100% lock for OSU?
im not sure which site i read it on...but he is going to be seeing a specialist
Smart move on his part. I hope everything goes well for him. He will make a smart decision either way. I just hope he is okay.
nah...he is committed CURRENTLY but there is some talk that its not a done deal
Where's Jarron Jones? Or have I just missed mention of him like the fool that I am?
I could be mistaken but didn't Prister make an offhand comment last podcast that we might not even want Jerron Cage even if he wasn't committed to OSU? If so, why would that be the case?
I thought it was Mike Frank.I could be mistaken but didn't Prister make an offhand comment last podcast that we might not even want Jerron Cage even if he wasn't committed to OSU? If so, why would that be the case?

I'm HOPING big year for Corey Holmes.
Wouldn't be surprised if C Rob hangs it up after seeing a specialist. If he wanted to be done before this season started anyway this will give him a fairly easy out if he wants to focus on school and other things.

If this happens then I think the starting receivers are Hunter, ESB, and Holmes with Sanders coming in on obvious passing situations
Where's AJ?
Yeah, he said 'I'm not sure how hard ND is pushing here'. And I don't buy that, they should really want younger Cage. If they don't push for him, it's likely because he's too committed to OSU rather than we don't think he's good enough IMO.
You're wrong in not buying it. There's more than meets the eye here. Sometimes players just aren't good fits, regardless of ability. ND has stopped recruiting lots of great HS players, and it is not because they are "not good enough".
