So which is it?

I have to say, I was really hoping that it would be Kizer vs Malik for at least the first half. I'm excited that it's live, but it won't have the same feel if it's Kizer vs Wimbush most of the game.

I'd wager it's DK and MZ against each other during the first half, Wimbush taking at least a quarter in the second half rotating between sides, with Montgomery and Nolan getting a possession or two.

If we see a nickel playing on his heels in a game, we should throw in Fink and have him do that single move burn route he has been filmed with. He has burned some pretty good corners in practice with it.

Most telling piece of tomorrow's roster, if it is an update to all I have seen. Just begs a conversation about ND using a two quarterback system. Especially when Kelly said earlier in the week that Wimbush would work between the teams.

This is the Spring Game Roster I saw :

The University of Notre Dame football team has released the rosters and format for Saturday's Blue-Gold Game.

GAME CLOCK
• The first half will have two 12-minute quarters with normal clock stoppages
• Depending on the length of the first half, the second half will feature two 15-minute quarters with a running clock
• Second half clock stoppages will occur only due to injuries or timeouts
• No play clock
TIMEOUTS
• Each team will be allowed three timeouts per half
HALFTIME
• Halftime will last 15 minutes
OVERTIME
• The game can end in a tie
• There will be no overtime
OTHER RULES
• Quarterbacks in red jerseys will not be live
• No contact for players in green jerseys but will participate
• Each possession will begin on the 30-yard line
• Offense can place the ball on either hash or the middle of the field
• There will not be any kickoffs
• All punts will be fair caught
• Rush permitted on punts, PATs and field goals, but no BLOCKING
• No fakes on punts, PATs and field goals

Gonna be an All American before he heads to Sunday. He'll be called a TE but he's gonna turn into an Eifert/Funchess type. The only thing that might stop him from being an AA is if a McKinley or an incoming (or two) '17 stud quickly become stars and take a high number of targets. Then again, I could see AJ leading the team in receptions this year and next and declaring. Sky's the limit for him.

I was thinking the same thing. I have seen Finke behind our secondary several times this spring. Sometimes it's not even close. I can definitely see him in a speed package this year. I can also see him being the surprise player of the year.

In all seriousness, he should definitely be returning punts for us. Everyone else needs to stay healthy. And he looks like a gamer who would relish the opportunity.

I always go with tamper proof packaging when purchasing expectations.

He may be nothing other than a blip on the spring practice radar but I like your idea on returning punts. He can catch and he likes to run. I don't see his hand going up in the air because he doesn't want the contact. Not that my opinion matters but I say give him a shot at it. Beats having a high profile starter back there risking injury.

The 87th annual Notre Dame Football spring game is coming up tomorrow afternoon. It's your opportunity to see a neutered version of the team as they'll scrimmage in front of a quarter full stadium. If you'd like to attend (BUY TICKETS HERE) it only costs $12 for adult tickets and $15 if you buy on Saturday. Those 18 and under can receive admission for $8/$10 dollars.
