Dude has been producing for two seasons now. Just because he doesn't get sacks doesn't mean he's not producing.

I mean sacks. He's good on run defense but we need production in the pass rushing department. It's been lacking for quite some time. Hopefully BvG's blitzing will work this year. Who knows. I know he's been overshadowed by others on the line but as I said, I love the dude.

If you don't like the signature, block the element and you won't see it anymore.

I don't mind the sig. It's overly large, and it's all staged and whatnot, but she certainly gets into her part  The amount of crazy and different emotions on display is entertaining. Shes goes from possibly anxious, to amped, to angry, then to crazy, back to angry, to determined...so much insanity. I would assume it's Stanford's band based on the weird shit going on, but they don't have uniforms if I recall.

Our annual "should Mcgriff change his sig" debate. Now I know the season is near!

It doesn't really bother me (although, past ones certainly have), but if it's the Stanford band. Then it must go. There is no place on this site for anything that supports a band that came on our field and depicted the Potato Famine.

Interesting. It seems the staff chose the captains and they were not chosen by the team.

I'm really happy for McGovern. Its good to see a guy that had to battle his whole college career and finally earn his starting spot his senior season. I hope he hits it out of the park the next two seasons and gets drafted in 2018.

I really like the 2016 captains too.

Is it really? That is incredibly fast.

Initial hearings are usually pretty recent to the event. I don't even k ow if the defendant has to show up. Lawyer can be there to hear official charges and enter plea on defendants behalf, iirc.

It's a band based out of Boston IIRC

Boston Crusaders

Saw them rehearse this very routine in June at a local high school.

18-21 age wise. Competing at the highest level. It really is a world famous elite unit to be part of.

Doesn't make it look any more appealing though.
Kind of weird. You guys are only seeing a couple of them.
It was an....experience

I just wish I knew for certain that everyone was talking about Isaac Rochell, our strong side defensive end.

But the way, I bet his pass rush is 100X this year.

I'll join everyone else's voice in hoping Isaac puts up some bigger numbers in his final season and earns an early draft grade and a nice paycheck.

He'd be a great addition to any team.

So while the University sits on it, are the 4 kids OK to play in the meantime? I would assume they can since BK is not suspending them. So let's say the University decided on Oct 1st that they sit 3 games, they're still playing versus Texas/Nevada/MSU I assume.

So we'll see them against Texas unless University does something before then.

That's the way I understand it. However, BK may ultimately decide at the last minute to not step on any toes in the admin, and sit them out until there's a resolution.

I get the thought process, but that's a scary precedent to set. What if the University sits on their ass about it for 6 weeks, and finds them 6 weeks later good to go. BK will have them for half of the season. I'm using an extreme example, but after the frozen 5 who knows.

we should have a better idea in 5 days tho when they have initial hearings. That would give the University an idea of the maximum offense each student would get.

I suppose. Too bad their initial hearing wasn't right away like Butler's.

Any chance they come out of an initial hearing without a charge, or is a charge imminent, it just depends what the charge is?

Since it's a small matter, will it be charged and no fight/further court hearings? Having weed I see as something along the lines of a speeding ticket, where you go there one time, hope for some leniency, but inevitably leave knowing your exact fate without follow up hearings. But I've never been part of the court process (yet).

Probably depends if someone has owned up. Some could potentially have no charges if an individual or individuals man up.

Thanks. Hope they have their story straight, and for the greater good's sake, hopefully it was just one idiot having weed on them/in their system.

New Notre Dame captains part of the solution in moving past lost weekend | Notre Dame Insider Football | ndinsider.com

• Kelly said White, Coney, Williams and Stepherson have all been practicing with the team since workouts resumed Monday and all four will be available to play against Texas, provided the Office of Community Standards doesn’t see otherwise.

They won't get much of a punishment first time someone gets charged with possession it's basically a slap on the wrist, second time is jail time. Also the amount you have makes a difference.

I'm pretty sure the OCS will see it a different way.

I doubt it. Max was largely responsible for this entire incident, and he's already been dealt with (regarding NDFB at least). That's why Kelly is sticking his neck out for the other four. So as long as Fulton County doesn't decide to f*ck them over, they ought to receive nothing harsher than a plea bargain for community service.

I hope they were decent to the cop because I feel like minor things like this, that helps. I hope they didn't go Butler on the cop is what I'm saying.

cant speak for Whiskey, but the actions and comments from BK seem to make it pretty obvious.

Yeah, even with past transgressions, and comments about how he takes more heat because of his seniority, the fact that he was dealt with so swiftly is pretty telling.
