They've cut it to 11.
5-0 fouls for the half. A team that pressures vs a team in a zone, and it's 5-0. That's the type of crap that infuriates me, I don't care we're up or not. You can't officiate contact differently on each end. You can't let a guy have an arm over Vasturia's back (and I wouldn't have called it) but then call it on the other end.
13 3's lol wtf is this?
Does college ball not have flopping as a foul? If so, that was either a charge on Steve or a flop.
Hopefully the FT shooting problems are just down to fatigue.
These refs just let a dude get run over no whistle because "the game was over"... good grief. FSU coming back in the game shows the power of officiating. ND shot a total of 5 free throws before intentional fouls. FSU? 16. Got away with murder all night. Going to be even worse with Coach K's pets tomorrow.

Not ND related, but Bill Walton is intense tonight! I love him

It's hard to get fouled when the defense isn't even near you. Florida State played one of the worst halves of perimeter defense I've ever seen.
Any chance we get a 4 seed now?
I really only thought it was a factor in the second half as they started to harass and have contact inside. Refs let them play very physical while constantly calling minimal contact by ND.

Does basketball use conference-specific officials like football?
The basketball team often seems to take more punishment than the competition, without the reciprocal foul calls.
I'm truly beginning to get paranoid that ND will continue to get shafted on any and all officiating in ACC competition until football is a full member, making the school fully ACC.
It's almost like football, where our dudes are subjected to dangerous hits every week without the calls, but any shadow of a gold helmet dropping automatically triggers a review. No protection for ND; Full protection for ACC opposition.
But that's a lot of tinfoil.
