After this week, short of playing a number one seed, what type of team do we not match up with? That's where I am. We match up with nearly 95% of the teams in division one. A team like Arizona would be bad. A team like UCLA would be bad. Other than that? I'm not sure who I would look at as a bad matchup for us (excluding the number 1s). We may not be the favorite in every game, but I would like our chances to win.
Totally agree. I watch a lot of Pac-12 late at night, and even UCLA and Arizona are definitely beatable even if not the greatest matchups. I can guarantee that no one wants to run into this ND team in the tournament if they have a good opening weekend because, like Coach K said in the post-game tonight, they are such a tough bunch to play against for the entire 40 minutes.

Please let the Irish be the 4-seed in Gonzaga's section.

If there's one thing I'm praying for tonight its for this to happen

I think we'll be a 5 seed.

You dont think beating UVA and FSU on neutral sites and pushing possibly a number 1 seed to the brink gives us a 4 seed when we started the tourney as a most likely 5 seed?
Ill be extremely pissed if we are a 5

I wouldn't put it past the bracket "experts" to screw us over. But yes, ND deserves nothing less than a 4 seed.

Joe Lunardi has Notre Dame as a 3 seed(!!!) in Villanova's bracket. I'm expecting a 4 seed at best, but I really hope Joe is right.

The game last night, I was proud to see the way they were fighting and competing. Duke's roster is filled with former McDonalds All-Americans and Notre Dame has zero of them. Bonzie is just a beast and there really isn't another way to describe his play. Knowing that he and Ferrell will be back has me pretty excited about next season's team. I think this team is ready to make another run to the second weekend of the tournament.

I think the committee will try to have the bracket not ACC dominated towards the top and we'll pay for that. I expect some team like Purdue to edge us for a 4 seed just because of Big Ten lobbying.

Yeah, I don't see that. The committee has never had a problem giving the ACC love.

I agree with this statement. Plus we have more top 50 wins then Purdue and their RPI is 20 ours is 21. And we play in the ACC and purdue in the shitty big ten

Is the bolded a certainty? I figured Farrell would be back but wasn't sure about Colson.

His NBA future is doubtful, to be kind. Of course he'll be back.

And considering Demetrius Jackson is currently in the D-League (or is it G-League now?), he probably should have stayed for his senior year too. Imagine this squad with Jackson still at the helm.

Well, if we're going to be a 4/5 seed then let's hope we end up in Gonzaga's region since we're not in Nova's.

I meant to ask last night but is Gibbs hurt or do I just keep missing him?
