If that's your concern, than you want KU or Nova. KU has very little front-line play. Lucas is just a rebounder (cleans up a bunch), and Bragg was originally brought in to play the 4. They are not an imposing physical team. Jackson is a freak athlete, but is a head case that would struggle to guard our small line-up.
Gonzaga is about as bad as UNC size wise, with the big mountain and the freshman Collins kid can move for a 7 footer.
I would love to be in KU's bracket. From a 1 seed perspective, I actually think we match up with them better than we do Nova. Well, maybe that's not true. But I think we can score on KU more efficiently than we can Nova. They aren't as flexible.

You can't go into the final 90 seconds trailing with only 3 fouls committed. And then Vasturia gives up a dunk AND the foul. Idiotic.

Hard to believe we shot that poorly and still should have won. We couldnt buy a foul tonight.

That's what is so annoying. Duke shot 60% overall and we shot 40%, but we out-rebounded them and limited possessions enough that it was close. Needed to hit a couple more 3s.
This is the first team that I am not as worried about hitting threes in the tournament as I have in the past. We played a top five team in regards to talent, and lost in the last minutes. We can play. We play an average game today shooting the ball and we win. Tough loss, but I think this shows us how good we could be in the tournament, even on a bad day shooting.

Good thing is that the Irish played themselves up to a 4-seed, and even winning tonight probably wouldn't have changed that.
Winning the conference tournament would have been great, especially winning the ACC twice in three years, but this team has bigger fish to fry. Can see this team getting to another Elite 8 if the draw is kind. There's really no team in the country this team can't beat on a good night. You always worry about bigger, longer, deeper teams causing problems but Brey has been dealing with that problem forever now.
Go Irish.
Pretty much nailed it on the head. We can keep up with anyone in the country I think. But just to be safe can we not,be in,the duke and UNC bracket haha

I believe NCAA bracket rules prevent a matchup with any team we played in the conference tournament before the Elite 8.
After this week, short of playing a number one seed, what type of team do we not match up with? That's where I am. We match up with nearly 95% of the teams in division one. A team like Arizona would be bad. A team like UCLA would be bad. Other than that? I'm not sure who I would look at as a bad matchup for us (excluding the number 1s). We may not be the favorite in every game, but I would like our chances to win.
All bets are of if Bonnie gets in foul trouble.
If you play a team twice you cant play them the first weekend. If you play a team,once you can play them the second game.
But I was talking about if we got to the elite eight anyways
