hell no

I would play with no restrictions (except for the guys that are medically limited).
The best way to simulate game situations is to play the game.
How can you improve on aspects of the game (such as option play) if the QB doesn't have to worry about getting laid out if holds on the ball to long?
Over-precaution can lead to underproduction.
I guess I live by an old school mentality, but I for ONE practice, would let me guys play all out.
Easily the best way to get the best feedback for QBs when they have to worry about sacks.

I would suggest that the BG game isn't meant to simulate gameday. I think it's meant to be a chance for kids to separate themselves from their depth chart competition, show the coaches what it looks like for certain groups to be on the field, and give kids a small taste of what playing in the stadium feels like.
Can you imagine the shit that BK would get if he unleashed everyone 100% and got Golson hurt? His house would have to be placed under guard.
What if Golson gets injured during a non-contact situation?
Will people then call for Kelly to not ever play a starting QB during the spring game?
Should we just ask for our QBs not to practice in general?
I wouldn't want our QBs to get hurt during footwork drills...

I'm thinking about starting a petition for "Joe for Captain."

I'm a little skeptical that we'll be able to bring pressure consistently. We haven't been able to bring pressure when it was needed for awhile, at least not regularly. Yeah, Diaco's system wasn't really built for that, it was bend don't break. Still, I wonder if our guys will be aggressive enough to make it work. It'll also call for a lot of man defense, which shouldn't be any problem for Russell, but we may give up some big plays on the other side with Riggs/Luke.
2:27 — Romeo Okwara drops the BOOM! on Hunter Bivin (70). It’s still really weird seeing anybody else wearing Zack Martin’s number, especially in a collision like that.
That’s an impressive rep by Okwara.
2:31 — That’s the Playstation 3 version of Greg Bryant. Wait, that’s the REAL version of Greg Bryant. Great cut and ability to accelerate and get up field. That one looked like it could’ve gone the distance.
2:34 — He might not have all the size in the world, but Justin Utupo (53) is a disruptive player. He might be able to do some damage on the interior of the defensive line, especially taking limited snaps.
2:37 — That’s a lot of power on display by Jarron Jones, pushing Mark Harrell back into the imaginary quarterback.
2:40 — Isaac Rochell (90) gets underneath John Montelus (60) and pushes the big guard backwards. That’s a solid rep by Rochell, who could play a lot of football this season.
. . .
2:50 — One of our first looks at Andrew Trumbetti (98), going up against starting left tackle Ronnie Stanley. Not bad, kid.
Signing day is in February but players can transfer in the spring/summer. Given that transfers are almost inevitable, is it likely that we'll ever have 85 scholarship players without over signing? Is there another way around this?

Seriously, you can't believe what you posted. Someone getting injured, like Lombard falling and hurting his wrist is an accident. Putting your QBs into 'live' situations increases the probability of injury by a large margin and would result in most fans questioning Kelly's decision making.
If Golson did that ND boards would have to be shutdown for the day.
Someone make sure Wooly's in a safe place surrounded by family or friends.

If Golson did that... I'd be very concerned for our secondary/defense
Sorry if this has been covered but is the Game Saturday going to be streaming? I am not going to be around a TV.
