Tell me Robinson's size/height is not going to be huuuge! Go ahead, tell me. Tell me.

I know he was matched up with a walk on but I really liked the way he looked running around out there.

Already posted, but no harm done... I rewatched anyways.

I think the most impressive thing about that route by Corey is where he caught the ball.

He plucked that thing out of the sky. Never waited for it to drop down. High pointing is a must for a big receiver, if you let that ball fall down into your lap, then your height advantage is useless.

Let Corey bulk up a little more, and he'll be ready to go!

Right on, he really looked like a pro there.

Where are you seeing that? II posted on sunday that we had a few injuries from Saturdays practice with Chase banging up his shoulder but they didn't have specifics on what it was.

Ishaq looks stronger at the point of attack, couldn't be moved. Grace had a solid rep and Diaco still is in love with him.
Day is indeed solid at getting off a block, but GAIII's cutback made him look silly.

Welch came back for a ball like I would never expect a tight end to be able.

Cam ran good behind his blockers.

GAIII had maybe the best juke move I ever have ever seen, I believe it was against Nix, who has not been prone to them. It is so fast I could hardly see it! So much for him not being able to put the moves on!

I couldn't see a number, but that is even better because Day is quick as a hickup! I just thought the number was totall obscuered and it was the biggest guy we had. If that was Day, he has really accomplised a lot in the weight room!

Davonte Neal is an emotional firecracker. He was the first one in to jump on GA3. Day looks like Zorich as far as speed at the snap. Brown, daniels, and TJ will be a force!

Anyone heard anything more on Hounshell or Amir? Others starting to report on it...

This is the most recent news we have.

Multiple sources tell me that defensive end Chase Hounshell has suffered another shoulder injury. One source indicates that it’s another torn labrum for Hounshell, a really tough break for the rising junior defensive end, who came into spring in great shape... [A]fter two shoulder injuries, including one that cost Hounshell last season, a labrum tear would be a major set back.

Speaking of injury set backs, it appears running back Amir Carlisle had one as well, with a broken collarbone the result of a Saturday collision... A collarbone will likely take Carlisle out for the rest of spring, but he’ll have plenty of time to heal before summer camp opens up.

As the article mentions, we likely won't get any more details until Kelly addresses the media after Easter.

During Jay Hayes's interviews he mentioned Ishaq a couple of times. Said that he stoned an Olineman or something to that effect. I got excited to see it and there it was or one of his reps on the video from Saturday.

Did that guy really say "positions of need"? Those are arguably two of our deepest positions, especially running back

.........don't like to ever think in the negative, but we may have to plan for the season without Carlisle and Hounshell. I have no inside information, but this repetitiveness [and in some ways not rapid healing earlier, in my opinion], sounds like the "Tate Nichols Syndrome" to me.

As to DLine: We will have the top starting DLine in the country, and with Kona, Tony, and, the way he's looking, maybe Justin, a VERY respectable second unit, and that does not yet count Jones, Vanderdoes, Rochell, Matuska. That crowd will probably STILL be the best DLine unit in the country. Hounshell's perhaps permanent debilitation emphasizes to me the need to go four DLine in the 2014 recruiting class. If we'd add, say, Clark and McDowell [hope that's the Michigan kid's name] to Hayes and Trumbetti, we'd be "Beast" far into the future.

At Carlisle's spot, my high optimism is somewhat more depressed. I viewed him as a more Bursting Theo Riddick, and ideal for us. Now I'm hoping for Goodness-by-Committee at least until Bryant begins to show us what we all hope that he is, and maybe Folston looks like Carlisle without the Glass Support Structures.

REALLY hoping I'm completely wrong. Just trying to see the future alternatives. I have great hopes still for our current stable of RBs and even higher for the two rooks.

But you all were convincing me that Amir was something really special ... hope he still will be.

If Grace's rep was against one of our main OL then that was quite impressive.

Yes. four things stuck out to me in that video.

1. Ishaq owning Koyack at the point of attack
2. Mahone moving the pile.
3. Day lighting quick of the snap -->4. The move GA III puts on Day and we thought GA III couldn't move laterally lol.
