Some of you get the part where ND grabbed a kid going to LSU that would have played sooner at a school that is winning more now. The Joe Montana that beat Houston is long gone. Houston is not back where it was in the day. Neither is ND, your new coach just threw a bunch of kids under the bus, at his old job. Get a grip, or not. This board has largly been like an SNL parady of crazy fans from back when SNL was really good. Look at the end of the season rankings, how good you were before he was born is no more important than how good Houston used to be. So lighten up. after a while people will get tired of laughing at this crazyness. Not tonight, but some day. This is crazier than Coog Fans and we are nuts. P.S. Penn State is laughing with you, the rest of the BIG10 & USC not so much;-)

I'm not going to bag on Houston, I know nothing about the school or football other than Sumlin and Keenum. But honestly, I wouldn't have even blinked twice if he decommitted from ND to go to USC, Stanford, etc. I understand perfectly when recruits decommit from ND. Hell, if I were a recruit, I don't know if I'd go to ND right now. But USC was going after him hard and they are most certainly not troubled. They're probably going to be in the top 3 next year, have the heisman favorite at QB, and have a very realistic shot at the Championship. That would have made a lot more sense. Going to Houston doesn't.

I don't even understand the words coming out of your mouth at that point.....

All kidding aside, I agree. Houston makes no sense. USC is Southen California. You can't get a bigger city than LA and better weather. You just can't. Houston is hot, and not that great... LA is,.......... well, LA.

I worked 11 hours today, and totally forgot about NSD for the until I got home! My reactions were indifferent to darby to fsu. Greenberry to Houston though? LOL, not even worth getting mad about. If he thinks Houston is the place to be over ND, good riddance! Getting Gunnar has dulled the pain of the de-commits at this point.

I have been so busy that I haven't had near the time I need for IE. Between being busy at work and kid's b-ball, everything else gets neglected. After this year, NSD is something I will want to forget anyway! Thank God we got Kiel at least. Back to Deontay. Houston? Really? Enjoy being the big fish in a tiny ****-filled puddle. ND isn't for everyone, but choosing Houston over ND is flat stupid.

Just wanted to apologize to anyone I called out or threatened to neg rep yesterday about Deontay. Never saw this coming.

Moral of the story here is that until the letter is in, no one on this board should be surprised if anything happens. I personally will never doubt someone who questions whether a commit will sign with us as long as there is a .0001% chance he doesn't.

finally,

My roommate mentioned something I never considered: Tee and Deontay had a falling out over a girl. They went to the same high school, right. This is just pure speculation tho.

One more thing...I think we can all agree that early commits are not to be considered a blessing (Darby, Deontay, Decker)
