Ask Mr. Tyree what that OU General Studies Bachelors is gonna do for him on the Eastcoast... then show him what an ND diploma is doing for former Irish players in the DMV right now.

Per Wiltfong from the Opening DC article Tyree will now decide before the end of May. That makes Mills, Tyree, and most likely Baker with May decisions. Note Wiltfong’s CB’s for all.

Saban is calling tonight, If Chris doesn't set up a visit with Alabama, this could be an exciting month.

We have never seen a RB with the speed that Tyree possesses.

I mean that in the most literal sense, Kelly has never had a running back with this type of speed. Long hasn't either. I believe Tyree currently has the fast 100m in the nation, right?

They've had some fast players but man, Tyree could be used very much like S. Barkley but with a better OL and likely better supporting cast.

I'm trying to pump the brakes but I really want to see Tyree in a Gold helmet.

Some kid in Texas just broke 10 seconds (though it was wind aided).

EDIT: As for Tyree I'm still looking for a 100 meter time this year.

So as others have noted, his commitment will come in May. But the thing is, Loy is confirming that timeline while still reporting that his plan is to visit that June 21 weekend.

Throw in some cryptic posts from Loy about how we should expect a great month, near universal belief from ND beat writers that he ends up Irish, the Murphy CBs... I'll just say it. He's a silent commit.

You're right Pops, Chris has the fastest 55m, which is even better for a RB:

So yeah, I'm going to be super pissed if we don't land this kid now. Only half kidding

Can you imagine ND lining up with Mayer and Bauman as in line TE's with him in the backfield, then, Tyree splitting out into the slot with a linebacker trying to cover him? Yikes :)

That is a big deal. Sinclair is very particular about when he puts those in. He usually does not put them in unless he is almost certain.

Bud Elliot our in a cb for Bama. No clue how reliable he is. Hey

70% all-time, so not super reliable. By comparison, Wiltfong and Sinclair are around 90% all-time, Loy is 77%.

I'll be worried if others start to join him, but I wonder if this is just "well of course Bama would win!"

Damnit. I just want him in this class already. We've been wanting to see what a top level RB can do behind our OLs and we're so close...

Not that our previous RBs were garbage, I'm not trying to insinuate that but borrowing Kelly's old analogies: we've been shopping down a different isle.

Has he been back to Bama since March or have another visit on deck?

Bud is pretty smart about recruiting in general from a couple podcasts I've heard him on, but I don't know that he really follows individual recruitments outside FSU targets.

Without looking at any film, I've gone back and really done some in depth study of his rankings, and I have to admit that I really like what I see.

Regarding position rankings, I look for low numbers. Single digit numbers are the best. One of the things that instantly jumped out to me was just how low the number next to his position is: 1. Not a lot of kids get 1's. In my experience breaking down position rankings, it doesn't get much better than 1. Zero is technically better, but that is rarer than a 4.1 40 yd.

I was also impressed by how close to 100 his score was. 98 is way closer than 97, and was better than 88. Impressive.

I was a little disappointed by how he stars, he tend to go about 4. But that can change. The rankings services like some drama. Hopefully, they will see some upside in bumping and he can 5.

Long story short, based on his #1 position ranking, his 98 score, and his high 4-star rating, I predict that not a single film evaluation will call into question his speed--even if you switched out his tape with Drew Tranquill's or Jafar Armstrong's.

I will be much much more happy to land him than some guy with much, much smaller numbers, like CJ Procise or Will Fuller. Whether or not he pans out, his thread will be devoid of whining from my fellow Service Ranking Evaluators. ;)

ISD said today they feel ND's lead is growing. Wouldnt worry about the Bama CBs until he visits them.
