Excited about this news...even if it is the class of 2020. Am I correct that he dropped in his rankings for #74 OVA in September to #221 last month?
He also has two massive OL guys on his highschool team
for the record, his dad is 6'5...
Very, very nice! I wonder what he'll think of the 2019 QB...
So here's a 247 pic of Mom (assuming) and Dad walking in behind Drew. I'm no geneticist but that pic tells me he ain't gonna be 6-4 like Pops.

Rivals podcast talked about how BK has typically been pretty stingy offering QB's. Pyne blew them away at camp though and resulted in an offer before his Sophomore season. This was about 5 months earlier than the previous quickest QB offer to PJ.

In a group of quarterbacks that was probably the best on this year’s Rivals Camp Series, Drew Pyne was clearly the top player. Other quarterbacks had a few nice throws in a row and then a bad one or one that didn’t cut through the wind. Pyne didn’t throw a bad pass and his passes cut through the wind with ease, which was a little surprising considering he isn’t very big. His accuracy and mechanics were very impressive and his timing adjusted very quickly even though he wasn’t working with wide receiver he was used to.

Notre Dame landed its quarterback of the future earlier this month when Rivals100 class of 2020 Connecticut native Drew Pyne pledged to the Fighting Irish. Pyne did not disappear after that commitment, showing up to lead a deep group of passers who competed Sunday. The group included Penn State commit Ta’Quan Roberson, Florida commit Jalon Jones, Clemson commit Taisun Phommachanh and Boston College commit Stephen Lubischer. A healthy wind separated those quarterbacks whose football could cut through and those that could not. Pyne through pass after pass with velocity and accuracy to take home MVP honors.
