My #1 want BY FAR. An elite defensive lineman from my hometown (even though hes a county school kid and not a Purple) playing for the Irish? Yes, please!
Bowling Green is loaded as it is.
Imagine if this kid were there instead of playing for the county?
(not that they have much competition at the moment with Highlands being down)
Nice stick kid. New level of want just washed over me.
True. I think South Warren may have won a title too, but not for sure. Way too many classes in KY football these days. BGHS had a Mr Football in Carothers who is signed with Navy. I went to school with hos Dad, excited to see him suit up against the Irish.

It's insane how many classes Kentucky has considering the number of schools. Only one less classification than the state of Georgia even though Georgia has 260 more high schools.
Welp...
IMO from a ND lock we now have a battle with Clemson on our hands. He seems to truly love Clemson and his mom is on board if he wants to go there. Sounds like Mom is involved in this recruitment along with his pops. He seems to come from a great family. If I had to guess his top 3 would be
ND- leading by the slimmest of margins
Clemson- On our heels big time
Michigan- Just hanging around
All IMO
Stanford?, crap.
did an interview with MF on his recruiting podcast. Sounds like a proper ND kid mentioned that he plays baseball as is a left fielder and led his HS team in stolen bases this season despite being 295 lbs lol

He's got that Sheldon Day 5-step speed. That's enough to beat the catcher with a good jump on the pitcher.
It's either Jacob or Litch Ajavon for the battle of most important recruit for the 2019 class.
Jacob obviously plays on the d-line. A championship caliber team always has a good d-line. He would come in and contribute right away. A starting interior line of Ewell/Lacey would be among the best in the business.
Litch obviously plays in the secondary. One of the most hard hitting safeties I have seen coming out of high school. Like Ewell/Lacey, a safety combo of Allen and Litch would have the strong potential of being the best in the country.
Both are very good and both play very important positions on defense.
Over this guy?

I think so. I have my doubts with Brian Williams due to him being from Texas and every other top school in the country will be after him. ND did a tremendous job identifying Litch early in the process and we seem to be in the driver's seat right now. That's the vibe I get, anyway
If highlight film is any indication of who will start, Jayson Ade will be in the running for All American. That's a strong call to leave him out of the starting line up behind Ewell/Lacey. I also think if ND could steal Jowon Briggs from OSU, he'd be in the running. After watching all of the camp 1 on 1's, he has the best handwork of any DT in '19. He might be RKG enough to pick ND, he marches to the beat of a different drummer for sure. He's my #1 DT in '19 now ahead of Lacey.
In regards to Brian Williams: If he were to come to ND, he would be playing FS or CB. He's Jeffery Okudah all over again. IF he played FS, That means 6-2, 210+ (currently) moves to SS. (he'll be big enough obviously). I'm not sure D Allen isn't bound for SS anyways. A SS that was a top CB in his class early on, before he started growing would be ok in my book if Brian Williams is your FS.
I would love to fast forward to the '19 & '20 seasons to see how Simon, JOK, JGH, Aloha, D Allen*, Ajavon* & Moala* shake out.
*the ifs.
This is also kind of where my head is at. A 10 win season this year could really spring board everything moving forward. This is the best coaching staff from top to bottom at ND under Brian Kelly.
Also agree on Briggs. Kid is a technician on the interior. If we could land some damn true cornerbacks, this defense is in good shape. Very athletic.
