I've opened the same couple threads today and sometimes the stars work and sometimes they don't. Phone or laptop.

I looked at old recruit files that I opened in 2011. Same problem. Appears to be a software (HMTL?) issue.

They added a new Google Ad footer and since, the site's out of whack. I lost the ability to see who is in each thread. But i still run Windows 7 on everything at home, probably works with Windows 10 (which was brought to market by Microsoft in conjunction with Satan). It's optimized for mobile because it works fine on my Call Saul burner flip.

I'm entered my prior comments into the IE Website Problems thread. No point in belaboring this technical issue in a recruiting thread as it shows up differently for Me2SouthBend (and others) and it shows up differently on my laptop (Windows 7 Pro/Chrom 60) and on my iPad (Safari) and it show up in archived recruiting threads from half a dozen years ago.

I would have felt a lot worse if I clicked on that and it said Miami or Tennessee had taken a sudden lead. Losing a FL wide receiver to Duke, after months of being solidly pro-ND? Idk about that.

Agree. This sounds like creating a bit of hype and suspense before the announcement. Do kids do that? I would be tempted.

Another example of paying attention to what the prospect is saying, not recruitniks thoughts. Austin has said multiple times that he is going to commit and then take OV's to his favorites. So whether we get the commitment or not, this is him naming a glorified leader, and holding a spot.

Where is four-star WR Kevin Austin going to end up? Gallery Slides All four 247 analysts say he'll probably pick Notre Dame this Friday. Duke guy reiterates that this will be a battle until NSD and Austin will take all his OVs.

I'm personally skeptical he could attend a Duke game and a Notre Dame game and end up at Duke.

IDK about this one. He sounds like a good kid with his head screwed on straight, which makes Duke attractive.

However, if you are looking for the total experience, ND really is the best choice. It's not just the academics, but the faith- and family-oriented atmosphere.

I officially have no clue where he's going.

It literally makes no sense to make a decision so close to the time that the NCAA allows schools to let kids go on official visits, when you plan on taking visits. If I'm Notre Dame, I'm taking his word with a huge grain of salt because he clearly already doesn't know what the word "committed" means. I hope they continue to recruit and offer other kids even if he commits, as he's already a flight risk. If he commits, cool; if he doesn't, oh well.

Another way to say it is that he, and all of these kids, have re-learned what the word "commitment" means from the NCAA.

Even if duke is getting the "hype", if he ovs, it's the Miami one that I'd be more worried about. I say go ahead and ov to duke.

Miami keeps him in state, it's a private school, richt is a good recruiter, and the program has momentum for first time in how long. I just refuse to take duke football seriously.
