Sounds like nothing has changed in that regard. Christian at ISD says that he expects Austin to sign for ND on NSD though.

Kevin Austin shuts down recruitment; will ink with Notre Dame

Big news Notre Dame fans — wide receiver Kevin Austin will sign with the Fighting Irish.

The 6-3, 200-pounder has informed Irish247 that he will no longer take official visits to any other schools and will ink with Notre Dame on National Signing Day in February.

The four-star wide receiver out of Pompano Beach (Fla.) North Broward Prep high school chose Notre Dame over Duke, Tennessee, Florida, Miami, Clemson, USC, UCLA and many others.

Per the 247Sports Composite rankings, the Under Armour All-American is rated the No. 91 player in the country, No. 19 wide receiver in the nation and No. 18 prospect in Florida from the class of 2018.
