Damn. I like Black a lot and he is from my home state and he is teammates with Holmes.

But if I had to chose between him and Jones...Jones no contest.

As everyone knows Jones is my favorite WR we have a shot with. But I don't think he leaves Texas unfortunately.

So the kid from Iowa, Martin, is a good consolation prize.

Uhh who the hell are the two other teams at the bottom?

I think it is so stupid that Twitter is giving verified marks to recruits now.

We got beat out by Maine and SCSU (whatever that is)...

Southern Connecticut St I'll guess. South Carolina St is the Bulldogs.

At least he gave Tuskegee a shout out... or is that a troll in today's world?

I could see him going to Michigan. He tweets about them all the time. I wish CJ could have reeled him into coming to South Bend with him. Oh well.

Would be pretty bitching if he actually went to Maine.

Back when he was considered a silent, a poster on ISD who knew his coach at Cheshire said that the people around Tarik didn't know that he was a silent.

DPJ doing alright for them though, returned a punt for a TD the other day. Their offense is plodding though.

This weekend's game vs Purdue will be fun

The script is already written:

Brohm's offense is gonna light it up, and scUM is gonna have to open up the playbook to keep up. Oliver Martin will look like a legend and we'll all get really sad, but ultimately Speight will look like the pedestrian QB he is, and Purdue pulls off the upset.

For real though, scUM struggled to defend UC at times, and UC's offense is below average right now. If UC had a decent QB, they would have had a lead late in the third quarter, possibly by two scores.

scUM's best hope at slowing Purdue down is to keep their own offense on the field with Ty Isaac and Chris Evans running the ball. Don't let Brohm coach a track meet.

play-calling has been pretty iffy, the right tackle Ulizio has been pretty bad in pass protection, Dylan Crawford has been a major disappointment, and Speight just is not good. He's the same exact guy as he was last year, hasn't improved at all. I was never a fan of his. He's surprisingly mobile for a kid his size and can avoid the rush a lot better than you'd think, and he has a nice deep ball, but that's about the only throw he has. His short and intermediate accuracy is straight up awful and his arm strength is highly questionable. The velocity just isn't there. Takes forever and a day for one of his throws to get to the target. Give me Jake Rudock over Speight all day and twice on Saturdays.

Aside from Ulizio, the OL has been a lot better than I thought it would be this early on- even against the first 3 opponents. I thought they were going to be downright horrible. DPJ and Black both looking like the real deal, very unfortunate to lose Black. Those two have big things in store for their future if they stay healthy and on the right path. Grant Perry looks pretty good, didn't think he would be as good as he has been. The TE position looks scary loaded, and Ty Isaac and Karran Higdon have both separated themselves from Chris Evans- which I honestly did not see coming. Thought Evans would be the guy. Higdon and Isaac have just both been way more decisive runners and have run harder than Evans.

Uh...what? Lol. UC was lucky to be in that game due to poor offensive play by Michigan and some Michigan turnovers. UC was essentially shut down. They had less than 200 yards of offense. As was Florida, as was Air Force. Florida had 192 yards offense. UC had 198. Air Force had 232. Michigan's defense looks fantastic to me, considering it's youth and an offense that has done nothing but put the defense in tough spots and keep them on the field way too long.

Rashan Gary, Chase Winovich, and Maurice Hurst have all been flat out dominant up front. Devin Bush and Mike McCray is the best ILB duo that I think I've ever seen at Michigan. Noah Furbush has been a pleasant surprise at LB. Khaleke Hudson looks great. Josh Mettellus and Tyree Kinnel are always around the football. This defense looks faster to me. Glasgow and Wormley were 3rd and 4th round picks. Hurst and Gary both look like 1st round picks to my eyes. Chase Winovich has been a wrecking ball as well.

Purdue could very well win this game, but it won't have to do with Michigan's defense getting shredded. That defense looks filthy to me. If Michigan loses it will be because Wilton Speight stinks up the fricken joint like he has for the last 6 games now. He's on a 6 game stretch from Iowa-OSU-FSU-UF-UC-AF - that is about as bad as I have ever seen from a Michigan QB. He really is straight up garbage IMO. He's been propped up by some scary Don Brown defenses and some nice pieces around him last year in Chesson, Darboh, and Butt. He is straight up trash though honestly.+
