HUGE arm! Love to see a high school QB fire the ball into windows like that.
Only concern, which is minor, and has been talked about previous when he committed, is he has a bit of a wind up in his motion. Nothing major like Leftwich, but it's there.
That said what a great fit for Notre Dame.

I'm no expert by any means, so maybe I'm completely off lol, but his delivery reminds me a lot of Zaire's. When Malik is planning on firing the ball, you can see him load up a bit at the back end before his release.
Unreal arm and I love that he is always keeping his eyes down field. Little bit of a windup that I think because his arm is so huge none of his throws seem late. The game will speed up for him and he might not be able to make some of those throws and get away with it. Regardless this is my favorite BK QB recruit, think he's going to be a star here.

Reasons why you take the "star system" with a grain of salt
saw that as well, ridiculous. I may just be overlooking it but I'm not seeing Alize Jones in the Top 100.

Barnett is the most overrated QB in SoCal. He had a terrible season and only garnered his 5 star status in 7on7's.

I almost agree with you. I think Waller is still the most overrated, followed by Barnett. There were a handful of QB's in the LA/IE/OC area I would have wanted on my team before Barnett.
I wish his parents would have sent him to a Trinity, Serra or Mission league school or moved into Centennial district. Would have been interesting to see the translation.
