Essentially I'm be bombarded because apparently I'm "way off" on my notion that Davonte Neal left school to be closer to his daughter. Apparently a select few keep telling me I'm off because there was more to it. I continue to ask for facts, and they just keep saying I'm wrong without providing anything tangible. It's actually quite hilarious how dense they are acting right now. I want answers if you've got them. I did the research and found nothing, so pardon me if I'm skeptical about your so called "facts".

Legs too long. He is elite OT talent and average DT talent. Probably just a selling point and he ends up at OT in the end. Arm length is ideal for neutralizing outside pass rushes and downhill running game.

I see that. I can see him struggling to stay low, while at LT that isn't as much of a problem, since his arm length can neutralize that weakness, and getting low isn't as big of an issue at OT than it is DT.

I've been arguing this non-stop, did the research and found nothing, and they continue to just say "You're off, it's a fact that the baby was a cover up story", well then where's the facts? This shouldn't be this hard to get some facts out of this, or at least something.

Back to Jerry, I agree with the Armstead 2.0 comment. If he wants to play DL, I think he can do it at a high level, but he has insane upside at OT if he buys in.

If the staff is telling him he could play defense, then I'm not sure his legs are too long. If he maintains a low explosion off the ball his legs aren't an issue. His long arms also help to keep the O-lineman off of him when he's on defense. I would think the staff has seen him play D and watch tape of him on D and must feel he can play D.

Staff may be telling him what he needs to hear right now. Get him on campus, maybe even give him an honest look at DL, but eventually put him back on O so he can maximize his potential.
