I think it's great that we locked down a solid QB early but is Barnett particularly under-rated or something? I've watched no film (and profess no special understanding if I had) but looking at his ratings and offers does not lead one to think "national championship." What gives?

One player does not make a championship team, let alone 14-22 months before he ever steps foot on campus. Does he he have the potential to be a special one? Hard to say. Lots of love coming his way, but to declare a NC because of his verbal? That's just silly talk.

But for what it's worth an elite QB on this 2013 quad would probably have them in the NC again..

His film is among the best QB film I've seen. Great arm and great wheels. This kid is special.
