He'd be nice to have in our backfield with Folston right now.

All I can think is, 'No way he could pass block in Kelly's offense"

What a boss and he would have been a hell of a 1-2 punch with Folston. He always seemed like an awesome kid so it's hard not to root for him.

How the fuck do you call those passes with Hood running the way he is?

Can't believe he's wasting his talents down there. What atrocious play calling.

Wow - I can't believe they didn't have him in the game at the end. That was really bad coaching. Hood didn't look too happy being forced to sit those plays out either.

This is not anything against him but I have always hated UNC so I hope they lose often.

Criminal coaching screw-up in four down territory for the win. NOBODY in the booth understood it, and the pictures of Elijah on the sidelines showed that he didn't either.

If Kelly has a power back who [with his OLine is having a good day,] yes, he calls Hood's name. We'd also have Robinson and AJones though so who could fault a big boy pass ... and we have Zaire.

I think that's the difference. We have options. Hood was THE weapon for North Carolina. 138 yards and he only gets 13 touches? That's crazy talk. We're talking about our pass-first quarterback getting around 13 touches a game and they won't feed their featured back in the red zone? To me, this is worse than Pete Carroll passing on the goal line in the Super Bowl. At least Carroll had a reason. It was a bad reason, but he had one. This was just completely unfathomable.

It marginally helps ND to have the ACC win and the SEC lose. UNC is a badly flawed team, and that would have made it better.

Yes, in the tangentially-beneficial-to-Notre-Dame-power-rankings, we want the ACC to win a bunch of games and the Big 12 to lose a bunch of games.

Drafted by Raiders in 7 th round

He has the tools but never became an all star

UNC never gave him the ball. He made a bad decision to go there, as he never fit their scheme. He could and should be a productive NFL back.

For those that play dynasty fantasy football, this is an amazing late round sleeper for upcoming rookie drafts. He will for sure be someone I target in the 3rd or 4th round. Has all the tools and is going to a team that just added Marshawn Lynch because their RB situation is so dire. I see him making the team with potential to be a multi-year starter.
