That was my question. Probably didn't edit that right.
ESPN Insider article, but Kiper has Fuller as the #2 non senior WR behind Laquon Treadwell:
Who is our "best known passer catcher" then?
Having more receivers ready and able to go, at a higher level will help everyone out, also.
Let alone opponents having to respect a running game. Having to keep eight in the box to respect the run, lets a guy like Will shred you on the back end.
The right NFL team will make him a star.
I'll bet everything he doesn't have the same year as last just because things are different now but he is a special player and a needed cog to make that run some of us are anticipating.
Good time to be an Irish fan.

Looking at this video......... on the last play of this video, the pocket breaks down and Golson is on move. He has about 6,000 lbs of offensive linemen in front of him, ready to seriously grade some road, and he throws a total jump ball into an area full of defenders. It turned out ok, but it was an INCREDIBLY bad decision. I'm guessing that the linemen and QB have some kind of code word for the QB to use, if he decides to tuck the ball and run, to let the linemen know that they can release downfield and block. Tucking the ball and running was absolutely the call to make there. I wonder if he was coached not to run, or if he just lacked the confidence to pull the trigger on the run there? Maybe there is a good reason that he was not named the starter and transferred.

Exactly.... as was the jump ball he threw under pressure against LSU to Fuller that luckily was not intercepted. Had it been, ND doesn't score on that drive which was the Folston TD where Malik threw the block and ND maybe doesn't win.
Had that been intercepted, Golson's ND career probably ends right on that play.
.
One could also make the argument that if he doesn't throw that jump ball, ND doesn't score the TD on that drive (it was 3rd down when he made that pass), and ND maybe doesn't win.
3rd and 7 from the 38 and EG wasn't out of the pocket. He pretty much had no choice on that throw. Considering he was about to get sacked, I don't think he could have put enough on the ball to throw it out of bounds where he wouldn't get called for an intentional grounding...
That case could be made but I would reply with why was MZ taken out in the first place? The play prior he made an NFL caliber throw to Robinson that LSU's Tre'Davious White made an even better NFL caliber play to break up at the last second.
Either way, if it falls into the hands of an LSU defender that's probably EG's last play.
.
Sure...But he drops to many damn balls!
Yeah... but Fuller has played against Texas and Virginia, #113 & #115 in Passing Defense respectfully...
