I'm not sure why everyone thinks we're completely out for Isaac. I understand he's visited SC but I don't see "USC verbal" next to his name. He's a fairly local kid and it's freaking May. Why would he even make a return trip to ND if he had no interest? I get that it's a short drive but still, you don't make it if you're not interested.

I can say that I'm not heartbroken. I think he has the look of Forte, but if he doesn't get to that level of a runner I think he'll be a very average back. My two cents, take or leave it.

Guess I should've voiced my opinion before his commit to USC. I see where it looks like I'm just being that guy talking him down.

Last I checked Forte was pretty solid and I wouldnt mind a Forte like back, especially since Forte is a great receiving back and thats kinda what we are doing with our backs now...

Yeah Forte is very solid. And I think that's the ceiling for this kid, unfortunately I just see him being the diet coke version.

We'll visit this thread again in 4 years and discuss, haha

Disappointing, as I'm really high on Isaac, but I'm also really high on Green, and maybe this paves the way for him. Would have loved to have both though.

IMO I dont think this will effect Green because I dont think we ever had a real legit shot at Isaac. I think winning is what will pull Green away from FSU but even then, it will be tough.

This is a win in my book... anywhere but Michigan. How many 5 RBs bust at USC? Answer: in the last 10 years, all of them but Reggie Bush. USC is always going to "get theirs" and I'm really happy Michigan didn't get this stud.
