Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe spring break starts Monday. Not sure how busy campus will be.

Yeah, I hope Kofi makes the most of his opportunities and exceeds expectations. Because looking at all the impact guys we aren't pursuing this cycle is making me really regret the staff taking him. But like I said, I'll root like hell for him to prove me wrong.

Kofi seems pretty athletic and has only played football for two years so I'm hopeful he will eventually be able to contribute one way or another. He had good stats but the end playing opposite of him was pretty good too. We'll see but I hope he can contribute.

Adding Pagano to this years team would definitely help. Move Tillery back to the 1 tech and it should be a solid pair of starting tackles with Cage hopefully being able to play a solid role too.

Maybe Pagano can bring some of the boat scraps we torched at Clemson a few years ago. The guys can rebuild a few boats for the Fall.

I really wish we weren't getting the first visit but we get to set the bar. Hopefully the staff and players knock it out of the park. Wonder who he's crashing with this weekend

I'm glad we're getting the first visit. A graduate student is going to be more likely to know what he wants and pull the trigger when he finds it. I don't see him wanting to take a national tour to stroke his ego.

Are you serious? I'm honestly trying to figure out if you are or aren't

Yeah I'm serious. I was just thinking about our upperclass d-lineman and who potentially might be hosting him. And, well, Cage may be retiring and Jerry Tillery and Jay Hayes - who both seem like fine young men in their own right - have rather, um, distinct personalities that may not mesh with what Pagano - a grad transfer who has won a national championship and is looking for a program to help him be a high-round draft pick in April - is looking for.
Rochelle and Jarron Jones have been around the block a few times and understand the stakes and all that Notre Dame can offer. I realize they probably can't host him, but they strike me as good ambassadors of the program to a guy like that, is all.

Either way, first visit is a good thing and hopefully he sees what he's looking for in Notre Dame and wraps things up. By far our most important recruit of the cycle.

Edit: Totally forgot the Combine's this weekend. So Rochelle and Jones aren't even around. Well hopefully they give Scott P. a call to chat at least.

I'd put him with Nyles Morgan. He doesn't have to bunk with a d-lineman and Morgan is probably the best returning defensive player.

I don't know if I expect that 2015 class of Tiassum, Treadway and Taylor to ever even be depth players. Tillary is the best of the bunch, and he was a converted offensive tackle and honestly is better suited for the offensive line. I'm sure they'r nice kids, but they're looking like the definition of body scholarships.

I think if Treadway stays healthy, he could contribute nicely in the two deep. The other two I agree

Idk, Taylor looked okay against USC when he finally got some extended PT. I think he could be a serviceable early-down sub in the middle to keep the starters fresh. At least more evidence that he'll contribute than there is for Treadway at this point.

I thought Taylor was one of the few bright spots against USC, I'm cautiously optimistic for him next year.

Wasn't MDT going to backup Tillery before the injury?

He was expected to get minutes, but he broke his foot so late that he couldn't really recover.
