Or it means he already knew he wanted Oregon. He decided he should weigh his options and after an unimpressive visit to ND, he decided to cancel the rest of his visits so he could stop the circus and just choose his predetermined team. Maybe?

I like Irish's story better.

would love to see the stats on how many D1 grad transfers actually completed their graduate studies. i am guessing the figure is very very low

For sure. But to be fair, many grad programs take two academic years to complete. Maybe you could do it in a spring, summer and one academic year. But you'd have to be pretty serious about it and, well...
I do suspect (hope) some guys come back to finish later on - either during or after whatever pro career they might have. But I feel like Sebastian Avery and that DB from Florida we had a couple of years ago may have finished.

The post makes very little to no sense. He was scheduled to visit Oklahoma all along, and he still has an Oregon visit to take. If he never cancelled the OU visit, the post would make even less sense. Pagano is just doing what he should be, making an informed decision, as this is his last shot to get this right.

FWIW, the staff on ISD said that Oregon and ND have a much more attractive depth chart than Oklahoma.
