FSU? Folston to FSU is a little like Danny Mattingly to ND ... he'll be overshadowed by a more talented classmate (Ryan Green). Don't do it, bro. Come to ND and be the man.

Apparently Florida has been gaining on Alex Collins though I still think he ends up at FSU. I just think Folston wants to stay down south.

Considering we have two yrs. with GAIII, 3 with Carlisle, I would rather get Bryant who is more of a pure running back and call it good on offense. Love Folston's game but personally I don't want to take to more RB's even tho they wouldn't be playing the same position.

Miami is also making up ground on Collins but still expect him at FSU when all is said and done.

I don't think we're an insurance policy for Folston, I think it might be a bit of the other way around. I think our staff thinks they can close with Bryant (this weekend even maybe) and really isn't interested in pushing for another RB super hard until:

1. James is actually in or out of the picture.
2. The scholarship situation becomes more clear.

His current top 2 schools (ND and Oregon) are basically 'full' so he needs to have other options in case we both don't have room.

See I kind of look at it from the other way in that Folston's top schools are actually the Florida schools but none of them really want him right now.

Yeah, and for my part I don't want to be nonchalant about Folston. I think he'd be great for us.

That's what I thought. It seems like Folston has enough info. to choose between Oregon and ND at this point. So his waiting suggests to me that he wants FSU or UF. Even if we are not pushing him for a commitment, I am sure we'd take it, so the ball seems to be in his court.

I hope we're wrong orthe Florida schools stay full. He's a good player.

I do as well. I think he would fill the Theo Riddick very well. Folston has tons of experience both in the backfield and on the outside as a WR. Honestly, I would not be upset if we trade Jamel James for Greg Bryant and Tarean Folston. Bryant would be the main RB while Folston would be the hybrid.

Florida FSU & Miami all want Collins each team has made multiple visits to him in the last 9 days. FSU is recruiting Bryant and Folston right now in case they miss on Collins.

No WR?

Now that I am thinking about it, I am basing my opinion on Allgator's theory. I called BS on his Hawkins and Redfield theory, but I am assuming he knows the Florida recruiting scene better than I do. Nayway, his theory seems to fit well with Folston's indecision.

However, Folston could just be taking his time or struggling to make a hard decision. Who knows?

I agree that he would be a great hybrid back like Theo.

No I dont feel that we need to add a WR unless its Treadwell. He would be the only one that I personally would care about and its not even worth thinking about at this point. With that said I wouldn't mind adding a J. Williams since he can play multiple positions and I think he is very underrated.

My want is: AQM, Redfield, Bryant, and Vanderdoes.

My realistic four: AQm, Redfield, Bryant, and Williams.

If Bryant were to commit, would we still take folston? I feel like we would but some of you guys know a lot more than I.

Just curious. If this kid is deterred from committing to a certain school (S.C. or Auburn, can't remember) because they might get that Williams kid, how's Folston feel about ND if we get Greg Bryant? Does that make him rule us out? Or is it that school that doesn't want a 2nd runningback, so if Williams commits, there's no room for Folston at said-school.

IDK if the staff would or not, but I think yes. Losing our top two backs this year and I don't expect James to make it to signing day.

I would think so. Bryant and Folston are two different types of running backs I think

But is Folston shying away from either Auburn/SC because of that Williams who is a supposed silent verbal??

If so, and Bryant commits, IDK why we'd still have a chance with Folston.

I don't think I have this right and I'd love for someone to correct me.
