1,000 yard rusher?

Even though he's not the starter, he still gets plenty of touches. Gray got 19 carries, Cierre got 14. It's pretty even and he should be able to break it with Maryland, BC, and FSU (Stanford's got a pretty bada$$ run d)

Wood - 143 carries, 808 yards, 5.65 average
Gray - 82 carries, 597 yards, 7.02 average
Can ND get two 1,000 yard rushers? Notre Dame averages 155 yards with these two a game, and would need only to average 150 a game to get to 2,000 rushing yards.
I think Notre Dame will rush well on both Maryland and Boston College.
Maryland - 110 each
Boston College - 120 each
Stanford - 70 each
Bowl - 85 each
That put Gray at ~900 yards, so he'd be within striking distance.
It would be so sweet to see. He needs to push forward from this consistency and really break off 2-3 50 yarders in a game and hit 170 or something epic. With this line, he definitely can.

If we want to Stanford, it will be through Wood and Gray. I would love to see a ground and pound the next four games. Maryland has the worst run defense I have ever seen. The only one even compare is Purdue and we almost went for 300 on them. I would love to see Gray get 150 and Wood get 120 next week and I think that is very doable.

Wow. I just looked up Maryland's stats and in their last 5 games they have given up over 200 rushing yards in each, including 372 to Boston College. BOSTON COLLEGE. They are HORRIBLE this year. Hell lets not have two 100 yard rushers, lets have 2 200 yard rushers. haha just kidding obviously but there is no reason we should tote the rock all day.
