    Ur welcome for the reps. I've been lurking as usual just don't post that much. Almost had a come apart last night during the second and third quarters but thankfully ND got it together. How's everything with you?

    I've been doing this stuff for the better part of 30 years, and I have long since done much writing -- I edit a ton of copy and really miss the creative outlet of storytelling through writing. I am a GS 15 and spend a lot of my time advising senior executives about matters that might have media interest, or political overtones. I supervise a bunch of folks who do what you want to do. I like what I do now but loved writing. I, like you, wanted to write novels but four kids and life had other plans for me. Writing, editing and public affairs is a good career field. Something new every day.

    How do you like the field you are in? It has ways been interesting to me, and even more so now that I am more aware of the things involved. Being able to write and earn a living would definitely be a dream come true for me, and the only other concern for me would be to make sure that my family is happy with the location.

    I don't care what you say about Republican politicians, but I'm not a fan when you try and tell me what my motivations are for believing what I believe. If you disagree with something I say, tell me why. Don't tell me that the REASON I believe it is because of hatred, racism, or any other such thing.
