    Hey it's a heated topic, I totally understand. I tend to agree with you on the context, but I have learned in this site when you don't personally know someone and are just reading typed words it's easy to interpret something other than it was intended.

    I just don't understand some peoples agenda. A thread where everyone was having a decent discussion, and he comes in and quotes your post and attacks it but doesn't disagree with it. His issue was that you responded specifically to the topic of the thread and didn't generalize your feelings to cover all social issues. Posts like his are why threads go south so quickly

    there were extravaganzas that included tahiti punch and grain alcohol and of course the Red Bull...I just recall a Red Bull beer funnel that had tahiti punch added in process...YUK, that was followed by a goldfish eating contest...what happened next is so horrific, I cannot recount, but you can imagine. I can't look at goldfish, tahiti punch, or red bull w/o getting queezy.

    I'm just glad to know that there is someone on IE that gets my wayward references. I love that movie and the memories connected to the half dozen times I've seen it at a theater.

    FYI, sounds like IrishLax is banning me tonight so I wanted to let you know... back when pat got banned, he emailed acamp and myself to keep in touch. He told me you and grahmbo were two of his favorite posters. You bringing up today that you two disagreed on everything reminded me that I forgot to tell you two, so passing it on now.

    Not a problem. More a privilege, white, black or mauve. Others have picked up the Grammar Hammer, thank goodness. My senses have been dulled and I've somehow developed an internal "auto-correct" function slogging through IE posts for 5 years.

    That and repercussions and pot shots for some (unnamed) posters. I lodged a complaint some years ago about a particular post using the "proper channels." No action, other than a Ban Hammer threat to me. That my complaint was against Jason Pham "might" have played a role in the little Theater of the Absurd play.
