Depends, if he's genuinely fine with waiting til he gets onto the field to make his NIL money, he may just pick ND. If he wants it now, then yeah. He gone.He gone

Five-star WR Carnell Tate details why his mom had a change of heart about Notre Dame, conversation with Chansi Stuckey
Tate is already intimately familiar with Notre Dame. But it took until his most recent visit to get one of the most important people in his life on board.www.on3.com
I’ll preface this by saying Tate is very likely to end up a Buckeye. That hasn’t changed. But this free article summarizing clippings from the Lucky Lefty Podcast maybe changes somes POV on Tate. Kid basically had to convince Mom to give ND another chance. That isn’t a kid just playing Notre Dame or being a diva with the visits he takes IMO.
OSU has the track record w/WRs but if he wants to walk in and play right away, we have the depth chart issues to allow that. Throw in Freeman and hopefully Moore and proximity to home and yeah I’d say the longer this goes the better for us.His interview with Lefty Lucky Podcast had some interesting tid bits. He said he'd love to play with Dante Moore but understands it might not work out that way. Also said he'd come to ND with or without Dante.
Sounds like he really likes ND but he wants to make the decision that gives him the best chance to make it at the next level. NIL is also a big factor. I can see why he might be a OSU lean but a lock? I'd say Marcus Freeman has a decent shot the longer this plays out.
Guessing it has something do with DA and/or Burnt Ends...So why does mom not like ND or is it she is just about the dolla?
Talk about a click baitFWIW ISD says ND is “trending in a positive direction”.
I live in Knoxville. He's at Tennessee this weekend on an OV FWIW

I'll let you know how many happy meal boxes he has with him...
That sounds exactly like something Tom Loy would sayWe don't actually believe this do we? ISD was super vague in their post. Sounded clickbait worthy for sure. I've been a pretty big critic as of late, I know, but I'll say it again (never thought I would), but TL and 247 has passed them up.
and no. I'm not Tom Loy. lol
That sounds exactly like something Tom Loy would say

Easy to say when you’re not being offered several million dollars. Unless the difference in NIL is negligible this is the right decision. In life, everyone has a few critical decisions to make. If Tate thinks NIL money is the best decision to make for himself, so be it. I personally wouldn't do it, but circumstances are like fingerprints, everyone's is different. Hope he gets what he wants in the next 10-15 years.
