Browns please take Jack at #32 and Jaylon at #65
Man that would be massively risky taking both tho... I'd be thrilled with Jaylon and one of the DEs... But if both Jack and Smith come fully healthy?? I hear ya
I've only watched him play three or four times, but every time I've seen him he's been awesome.

I think the 9ers were going to take Garnett at 37. But they have 12 picks and most of them in rounds 4-7. I think they wanted to dump the extra picks and also have he 5th year option on Garnett by taking him in the 1st.
How about the two Bama DT's, Noah Spence, Von Bell, Andrew Billings, Ragland. Ton of quality players still out there.
Can someone please hack Conor Cook's Twitter and post a video of him slaming heroin or something?
Dumb pick by the skins
OSU killing it
Wish we could've played Iowa.
I feel like people take stupid pills sometimes. Some people actually wanted the OSU matchup, which was horrible given the injuries. Probably the same people that wanted 'Bama in 2012.
So I just read that 1982 was the last time Notre Dame had a LB drafted in the 1st round. (Bob Crable)
That is the longest drought of any single position group. Interesting tidbit.
LB's are getting devalued more and more in today's passy catchy game though. You'd want to be pretty good these days to go first round. Like Jaylon![]()
It's not just Chip, it's also the lose cannon Baalke. I don't know why they would trade up for a player that would be there at 37. Only other reason I can think of is for the 5th year option.Im not agreeing with that at all. Dump 4th round picks? Not sure I've heard that as a strategy someone would be excited about. The 9ners fan I just watched it with was in disbelief for just what you explained. They were goin to draft him and he was going to be there at 37. Zero reason to trade up. Even if you thought he wouldn't be there, very comparable player (Cody Whitehair), better by some, that would've been there if Garnett wasn't. Chip definitely had somethin to do with that. I bet Garnett is a good NFL OG, multi year pro, but it just follows him everywhere. Doing things that are unnecessary.

I will be glued to the TV tonight to see if Jaylon gets drafted (I definitely think he will).
I think once Myles Jack and Reggie Ragland get drafted it could happen any pick after that.
It's pretty incredible how many first round/any round draft picks BK has produced in 6 years vs the previous 3 coaches in about 13 years. I think we sometimes take BK for granted with what he has done to turn around the disaster that was ND football. We are in such a good place right now.

I was thinking something similar. And our bowl loss to tOSU seems not as terrible now that we've seen them with 5 first round picks. That is a crazy amount of talent on one team. The fact we were able to still score fairly consistently gives me hope for next year.
Happy for Stanley and Fuller. Now I'd like to see Jaylon, Day, N Martin, K Russell, Shumate, Prosise and Brown drafted. Did I miss anyone?
