It's not just another ND poster leaving. It's a Bama fan that came in and gave great insight on the game and recruiting without being a jack wagon. He is a well respected poster around here. But I agree, eat a D.

I've appreciated our [extremely patient] Alabama fan's comments on football and recruiting and "cross-cultural" differences and biases among fans. In fact, I've considered him almost a model of the sort of "modest enemy" fan that I wish there were lots of on IE --- they would bring an added richness to the site. Of course, with some of the thoughtless jerks that make life almost impossible for such a guy, IE ends up impoverished in this area, and that's a shame [in every sense of that phrase].

So, for me, even though I believe that college football would be FAR better off with an Alabama brought back down to Earth, I say: it was good knowing you, sir.

In the same boat here as well. I have several knucklehead SEC friends and employees that I love, but can't stand talking to them about football. 3T was very fair and as rational as any fan could possibly be.

As a poster on another teams message board (MGoblog) I understand the plight you have faced. But know this. Through the hordes of trolls that we mercilessly beat down at the gate there comes one with whom stands above and becomes known more for his insightful posting and is welcomed. You are that one. In all your time here I don't believe you've managed to get yourself banned due to crappy behaviour.

TTT, IE might always agree with what you have to say, but you are always welcome in our castle.

THIS! TTT really didnt say why he was moving on but I hoping that it's not because someone gave him a hard time. He's always been so polite, interesting, and he brought a fresh perspective.
