My god. That is terrible.

That dude better run for his life to turn himself into the police. If I were AP I would literally murder that man.

Unreal that someone would beat a kid like that. Horrible story.

They wouldn't release who it was at first. And thats understandable. But I did read APs dad confirmed it is his 2 year old son.

Eye for an eye...... at minimum

3 things...

Prayers for his son.

If I were AP, the mom's boyfriend would no longer be breathing

and if AP plays Sunday, I feel sorry for Carolina's defense because he is going to go off.

The guy I am playing in FF has him and Peyton (who is playing the Jags). I don't even know why I bothered to set my lineup.

Says the attacker has been arrested and charged already and is due in court today.

An eye for an eye is they way i see this one, that guy should be beat to death. I just dont understand how anyone in their right mind could do that to a two year old. With that being said if AP plays Sunday he is going to go bananas

you in a 6 team league or something?
how does that happen? :)

12 team keeper league. He kept AP and had the first pick in the draft. The guy that had Peyton chose to keep Reggie Bush instead. While Bush is having a pretty good fantasy year, he is kicking himself for not keeping Peyton.

I hope AP's son comes out of this OK and that this guy is made to pay in full for this cowardly brutality to a child.

And if the mom knew the dude had the potential to do what he did, she deserves a cell too. To many times in this ****ing world the female puts the child in a situation she shouldn't. She may not have abused anyone but she likely could have protected her child from the start.

If he is a single parent I could see how it would be hard considering he plays in the NFL for 6-7 months and travels a lot.

But I agree, after this he should have 100% custody.

States still like to give the mother custody. Deserving or not. Especially when they are infants. Plus I can't imagine his work schedule allows him to be around that much during certain times of the year.

On a side note, read up on D Wade's custody battles. Dude is a great man.

I give the killer a few years to live...

As far as AP not having custody, maybe it has to do with him having GF and having a baby with another girl?

I mean I understand how it works, grew up in a single parent household, dad was awarded no visitation rights.

But as much as the mother usually wins out, that's is also because the mom usually was dating some idiot.

But in my experience with the court system, money is king. AP has it and surprised he wouldn't have custody.

And it's not like he doesn't have the money to take care of the kid...even when he's on the road.

Whatever the case...work it out. The mother should be dragged trhought he streets by a car and the guy that did this should have his arms and legs cut off, slowly, and then pissed and **** on by the Vikings Oline until he chokes out.

(If you can't tell...child abuse makes me angry.)

I have seen that it has to be a very compelling argument to take the child from the mother. Also, AP never asked for it. From what I heard, the relationship between them wasn't bad (she is the mother of AP's other child as well). Seems to me, and I don't claim to know for sure, that she was a fine mother in AP's eyes until this dude showed up. It wouldn't be the first time that a single mother gets in a relationship with the wrong dude.

Finally... you're angry about something that is normal.

Usually when the child is an infant they want a parent, preferably mom, to be there all the time. If the child is 2 now I can imagine it was younger during the case.

I spent 10 years as a single parent. I had a good job. My own home. All the security in the world for a child. But when I fought for custody it was awarded to their mother. She was jobless and lived in an inadequate house with her parents. My childeren were 1 and 2. They ended up where they belong a short time later as she willingly signed over custody. The reason given by the judge was that all infant children need the connection with their mother more than anything, even tho my situation was far more stable.

Ive heard that AP didn't know this kid was his until 2 weeks ago. This lady left to go work out, came back 20 minutes later and the dude had freaked out on the child. This is just local talk so take it for what its worth.
