They will wear down our D and have some success running but I think their ability to score at will depends on the success of throwing the play action. This won't be Alabama just running through us.
Kelly has NO excuses offensively. I don't want to hear about how good LSUs defense is. It's time to put this thing together.
You have two capable QBs with running ability and rocket arms. Folston/Bryant. Oh what's that coach? Greg isn't ready to block?? He needs to learn the playbook more? He's not quite ready to take a full load?
Then F-UCKING GET HIM READY!!!
Urban Meyer is on his third string QB... In the playoffs.
Our O-Line roster was recruited by almost everyone. This crew should be way more dominant.
Fuller, Prosise, Carlisle, Robinson, Koyack, Folston and Bryant is enough play making ability if you can just field a competent QB.. Ahem. Kelly.
LSU may take advantage of our depleted D but our offense has a real chance to make a statement here. Kelly has the opportunity and time to devise, implement and execute his game against a top tier defense.
To me, this offensive showing will tell me all I need to know about Kelly. Do we see a sloppy, mistake prodden, confused, game clock running offense? Or the confident, energetic, cohesive brand of football we've been waiting for.
If he can't get this offense going now what makes anyone think he's ever going to?

I liked the edge he played with today, saw him get in a couple guys face. Good to see.
Chris Leak?
Today was the type of game and toughness we needed to compete with the soon to be Harbaugh teams and OSU on the recruiting trail. I want toughness and nastiness like we saw today.

Day and Cage back in the lineup are huge positives for this point especially. If they are anywhere close to 100% I start to like our chances.
I think the Zaire comments are spot on, young team wants a chance to play for the future. Zaire is a quality QB prospect with two full seasons in our system. He knows he can win the starting job with a solid performance so if he is a gamer, he will be bringing it. Motivating the troops is only part of the job, if he can sling it today we have a lot to look forward to.
Irish 30
LSU 27
Zaire establishes himself as a heisman dark horse next year going for 250+ and 3 TDs.
DEFER ONCE KELLY YOU ASS.
so true
Timeout? Are you kidding me?
Miles walking around like he doesn't know where he is. lol

did anybody see the ICON video yet with the way the team responded to BK giving the game ball to Brindza that was special. I also liked how young Folston spoke to the team after the win the kid has it. He something special.
