It will be closer to 17 by kickoff IMO.

This will be the best team ND has faced since Bama. Considering it's on the road and that our D will probably not be as good, I understand this line.
Do we know if they're supposed to be better/worse this year? They lost a 1st, two 2nd, 3rd, two 4ths, and 5th round pick to the draft, but I'm not exactly an expert on their roster.
There is one simple rule to follow when betting on ND. As long as you follow these 2 rules consistently you will make a lot of money.
1. ALWAYS bet ND as an underdog and
2. NEVER bet ND as the favorite.
This is very, very true.
There is some truth to that. Let's look at ten years of data.
ATS ND as FAV 33-45 42%
ATS ND as UND 24-21 53%

So, X and O's wise, what's the best shot for the Irish to beat FSU? Do they try to do what Auburn did against the 'Noles in the first half of the BCS game? I don't really remember what that was; I was on vacation and drinking heavily. But do the Irish play ground and pound offense, trying to wear the FSU D down and keep J. Winston & company off the field? Or do we try to shoot it out and hope our D catches them off guard? I'm interested to hear what our chalkboard guys think.
