My buddies wife (her dad played for FSU) got 4 tickets for the game!!! Where is the IE tailgate??? I am so pumped but at the same time really worried about the game.

I don't know where the IE tailgate will be but I can tell you I will be at Pott's friday for happy hour followed by the strip then I will be tailgating around the intermural fields gameday and will hopefully be sober enough to make it to the game.

How old are you? I like Poor Paul's, which is on the strip, but everthing else is for college age kids. We do need an IE tailgate though.

I will be driving up Saturday morning with the wife, to meet our friends, but I'm all about getting a tailgate together. I have no clue where would be a good place to set up.

I'm not sure where you can set up a tailgate either. You need to be an FSU booster to get a tailgate in the parking lot on campus. Also, unless you leave very early in the morning, it's going to be very difficult to find a space for the tailgate. I'll ask Gene Williams if he can do anything for IE.

I'm 22. And you are correct the strip is very much for college aged kids, but on game weekends (especially big games) I feel like there are many older couples/groups that go there.

If you are in your 20s it will be the place to be for sure.

Yep, then that's a good place to go. Check out midtown as well. Are you getting here on Friday or Saturday?

How on earth do you have tickets already? ND hasn't had the lottery for contributing members and FSU isn't even offering tickets to anyone but season ticket holders.

I'm getting a ticket from my friend who has season tickets (Can't remember what section number they are in) then I walk across the sections until I find my friends who go to FSU in the student section...the last couple of times I've borrowed a student ID just in case someone checks, but I've never had a problem.

This might be a little early but our defense Is going to get schooled.

Don't have to tell you guys how much I love the Irish. With that said they wont win this one. Way too much firepower on FSU. The one thing that I have been telling people the last few months is that Golson will be the best player on the field. When I see these types of games I become more proud of being an Irish fan, they will play well but this now becomes the divide in college football between what used to be and what is. College guys vs professionals. I'd rather talk about what Notre Dame does with the players to bring them to life after football along with trying to win 10 games a year. If FSU wins 10 games next year they had a bad season with that schedule. If Golson is right he'll be the best player on the field.
