Yup. News of his potential decommitment was on the ISD board from guys linked into UNC / North Carolina area before Loy ever 'broke' anything.

To be fair to Loy, why he sucks is that he doesn't have good ND sources. Not too different than the guys at Rivals these days, if we're being honest.

He does have OK sources from his Carolina days and what not... but I'd take something from Wiltfong a lot more serious than Loy.

Yeah, I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt but dude has very little real info. Any questions anyone posses to him are met with "I'll check on it." At which point I assume me asks Wiltfong or his Rivals subscription. Honestly I am surprised 247 is allowing him to cover both UNC and ND. ND must be a big enough market to warrant a few analysts to ourselves, no?

If I wasn't paid up through December I'd be at II or ISD. I still flirt with the idea of adding a subscription literally on a daily basis.

Then he makes all these dumbass predictions like Lo Carter to ND. right now he is the only person who believes this right now in the country. Then all of a sudden predicts Starks to ND an hour after hood decomitt. Then he felt so cool because Yeargin let him know he was committing an hour before he did. I don't mean to rip the guy a new one I am just saying ND needs to do a better job. The tunnel vision was beyond disrespectful to Jason Sapp

He's just a really bad reporter. He was always extremely vocal saying Hood would never decommit. It's honestly like he hasn't been following recruiting for very long at all. It seems like everything he says is based on naive hunches instead of substantive information.
