Pretty much my decision. I do miss TJ

He's gold. However, he doesn't post much during the season so if your signing up for that this may not be the best time.

Side note: He posts so little during the season that posters have been trying to get him to commit to a certain number of posts/week.

Get rivals

247 sucks under Loy. I just use it because you can get updates on every team.

I am not catholic and I did not attend ND, but I was honestly about to ask if the Administration has a problem with freshman-to-be having children.

I get that they won't kick a current student out, but an incoming one who's not yet enrolled?

Is it against the law to have kids in South Bend? Just wondering.

I imagine the Administration of the most prominent Catholic university in the country isn't crazy about preaching Catholic Social Teaching on sexuality and then having new members of the football team clearly violate those teachings. I understand that not everyone on the team is Catholic, but it gives a bad image for 2 reasons:

1) To Catholics, it looks like the University doesn't take Church teaching seriously
2) To non Catholics, it looks like the University doesn't take Church teaching seriously

It's just a bad precedent to set.

Can we have a 'who is likely next - decommitment style' thread?

Lol, this is madness.

I don't think it has anything to do with admission or being catholic. Its more about distance, money and young men realizing that the life of their child comes first. We have seen it with Neal. I would think that if the family would have had the means to move everybody to South Bend, they would have done it. The school did not kick him out...

What aube said. They're not blackballing kids with kids. But distance/family starts to matter a lot more in those situations, and that doesn't tend to work out well when Dad's in Indiana and baby's in Arizona.

Connor, shouldn't you be practicing or at least studying film? Stanley is on your a$$.

Fournette-book it! Hey, if people can bring up laws in SB against having kids, I can bring up Fournette, eh? Let's get real-ND wins and they'll bring in who they need. Could be Hood or any other big time back-could even be Fournette.

My new teeth are tickling me. Always means that the change is a good one.

So who is Loy's mystery running back? Any guesses?
(For those who haven't heard, he reported that a "major" RB recruit currently committed elsewhere is interested in ND is likely to take an OV to ND. It's not Jeff Jones or Sony Michel, as he said both are likely to sign with another school (i.e. not ND). He also said that Fournette and Shai McKenzie will likely not be Irish.)

I'll throw out a random one ... Racean Thomas? Wasn't there some interest/contact between us and him earlier in the process?

Do we know whether this RB has an ND offer yet? That could help narrow the hunt.

They are highly decorated, highly sought after football players. If they aren't knee deep in "it" already, they will be soon.

Sorry I don't understand. What is a bad precedent? Allowing kids who have sex into your university?

I don't understand the use of the word precedent. I wasn't aware allowing future parents into the university was even setting a "precedent".
