Yesterday I read a judge in Tennessee wouldn't let parents name their child, "Messiah".

I assumed he was an SEC football fan and inherently objected to a word that means Notre Dame Quarterback.

No one hates NDNation more than I, but dang. That's a great read.

I'll second this. I was already feeling relatively optimistic, but after reading this I feel even better. The points about coaching changes at the OC position can't be overstated.

When did you have your "Come to Reesus" moment?

May I say, I am a born again Reesus man. I had doubted for the longest time. But then, word of improvement spread through practice reports. It was then I believed the scribe Brian Kelly's word. Reesus will guide us to perfection, because that is his duty on this earth.

I'd suggest that the "Reesus" references and comments be toned down a tad. In my old fart estimation it provides too much grist for the "hater" mill.

As a global, situational wise-arse I can think of a few ways it could be a colossal backfire.

I respect your opinion, but we literally had a thread on here today about how "smug" us ND fans are. IMO, we might as well play up the role of hated fan base as much as can just to make the haters eat it. They will make get at us no matter how poorly we finish anyways.

Haters gonna hate. Let the fans talk about the players the way they want. Nobody's getting hurt... I think.

Just sayin'. A simple warning that what goes around, comes around. Karma can be a bitch. The flames need no "fanning" or additional fuel, but I see responses on the horizon that will escalate matters should T. Rees not live up to our vaunted expectations. Making the matter Biblical might be dicey.

I'm an avid fan of free speech and, as an aging hippie, an advocate of "letting it all hang out. As a sarcastic SOB I appreciate and accept a great deal. I'm just trying to keep the impossible peace when it comes to internet GIFs, blogs and religious rejoinders.
