Rees is like Vader. Came close to some big upsets, but ultimately wasn't the one to destroy the Sith. His offspring, or protege Book then followed in his footsteps and he was able to help him fulfill his destiny. Okay, that seemed less nerdy in my head.

He's more like Palpatine. This is Rees every time Book scrambles 10 yards for a first down:

Been bleeding blue and gold since 2010. I'm curious if ND matched LSU's $400,000 or offered less. Either way, dude stayed home and opted not to follow BK. Notre Dame Man still.

I chuckled when he said he was up until 4 or 5 am mulling things over with some bourbons, when he fell asleep in his chair.

"My dad showed up unannounced the next morning and for some reason I had a headache.." lol
