WMU is a great campus, Kzoo is a really fun town, and they had some pretty successful WR's lately.

You can get a Sales degree at WMU too. Not many universities offer a sales specific degree and they have one of the best in the country. Local companies like Pfizer and Stryker have dumped millions into the Hayworth College of Business.

Great landing spot.

WMU has been going pretty hard into Florida for many years, looking, as usual, for the speed [especially DBs]. I think that this began way back with Jack Harbaugh [the Dad of the two famous sons].

WMU DOES have a nice campus and pretty girls in abundance [trust me; I saw them everyday in the classroom, and "we" regularly produced the Miss Michigans]. Dating back to the Upjohns and things like Gibson Guitar, KZOO has always been elite on music and it still has plenty of pubs, plus the now-famous Bell's Beer.

And, under the now-fired Bill Cubit, WMU threw it all over the field --- and probably will still do so. You can get to the NFL from there, as Greg Jennings and Jason Babin proved, so even that is do-able.

i guess it just kinda hit me too but if he had problems with smoking he is going to a state where its legal making it very easy to get a hold of

I doubt he has a "problem with smoking". His problem at ND involved the illegality of a recreational drug. Change the law, and he no longer has a problem.

Good luck to Justin,

I did not know Jack coached at WMU before Western Kentucky (who owe their program to the Harbaugh family and should build a statue of him.)

Pretty sure not many people that are interested have trouble finding pot wherever they are, so even if he's a smoker can't see that having any impact on his decision.

IMO his problem was with his stupidity, as in, his brazenness with which he allegedly smoked. From what I've heard from people that would know, he and his BFF just didn't give a crap who knew or saw. That's just stupid. You can bet your bottom dollar that more ND players smoke than just those 2, but others know when and where to do it and when not you.

Ferguson will have Chance Stewart throwing to him. That could be a pretty good "MAC Attack"

i guess the problem is all point of view.

I'm a smoker so i understand how easy it is to find but if you don't think it's easier and of higher quality there you are crazy.

lived and went to college near the border it's a benefit trust me

but agree with la their problem was with the "**** off and deal with it attitude"

I understand the legal position but regardless, "This is Notre Dame", wouldn't du Lac have to be changed?

I don't see that happening.

If it specifically mentions marijuana as a prohibited substance, then yes. I had assumed du Lac references such substances more generally (Schedule I of the Controlled Substances Act, etc.)

After missing the first two games Ferguson has 40 tackles and 3 ints in 7 games for Western Michigan. Justin Tranquill is starting next to him as a RS Freshman and has 60 tackles in 9 games.

I was looking for him at WR when watching a WMU game recently. I had no clue he moved to D. Pretty darn good numbers for 7 games.
