Yeah, I've been a Hawks fan for the past 8 years. It's hard for me not to root for them. Still support the Blues, unless tehy are playing the Hawks...

I still think UK leads due to two things... his mother and the fact that he is really close to D. Barker who is talking to him every day.

I do think the Irish is sitting there a little closer than some may think. I would say they are right there with Bama. OSU and Louisville are outside looking in. Too early to discount any team as it is a long time till he announces if he sticks with his timeframe.

It would probably be better for him to, but if we find a way to land his signature, he will play. Too much of a need to not let him see the field.

Just checked out his coach's twitter. "Big ND fan" might be an understatement. This guy absolutely loves it.

Also, one of his coaches responded to a ND fan on twitter and said there will be an official to ND. He said they were looking at the USC game.

I don't think the odds are great but being a kid from the Commonwealth and a beast at an area of need this would be my #1 pick of kids from this class.

Probably uninteresting sidenote...John Hardin is a new school but it was formed from a few other schools one of which was North Hardin. When I was in high school North Hardin scheduled us for their homecoming, we did not take this very kindly. My high school team did not lose a regular season game for the 4 years I was there and felt pretty insulted to be scheduled for a homecoming where teams usually schedule their weakest opponents. We gave them quite a homecoming beatdown, if memory serves correctly 35-7 was the final score.
