I think NDOM gave me like 10 mil and it just snowballed from there. 2% every couple days adds up fast plus all the gambling winnings.

I also started the Lennay Kekua thread... and that activity made me a ridiculous amount of vBucks.

you have 188 trillion dollars in your bank now LOL

have you ever considered dropping law and getting into finance?

See, what worries me the most here is that some coach made a promise and/or mislead EV in some way such that when he comes with his "statement" it's going to be dropping a huge bomb on ND. And that could really hurt recruiting as opposing coaches will use it to negatively recruit. From putting all the pieces together, with the situation being totally effed, there must've been something that went down. TP said "coaches didn't do anything" but everything I heard was that he was hella pissed at an assistant coach/coaches... so someone did something... right or wrong a situation doesn't deteriorate like this from everyone being inactive.

So... the situation is only going to get worse, not better.

Nonsense. Much ado about nothing when all is said and done.

IIRC, Lax is an engineer (CS?)

oh, in that case, as an ND guy, who is an engineer but who i thought was a lawyer, he should appreciate this joke:

In some foreign country a priest, a lawyer and an engineer are about to be guillotined. The priest puts his head on the block, they pull the rope and nothing happens -- he declares that he''s been saved by divine intervention -- so he''s let go.

The lawyer is put on the block, and again the rope doesn''t release the blade, he claims he can''t be executed twice for the same crime and he is set free too.

They grab the engineer and shove his head into the guillotine, he looks up at the release mechanism and says, "Wait a minute, I see your problem......"

Agreed, I think people over blow the effect things have on recruiting. There are so many elements that go into a kids decision, I doubt someone else who they have never met, making a personal decision will effect any recruits.

I don't think this is truly because EV wants to be here, but because he doesn't want to face the penalty (as some others have speculated). In that case I'd almost release him. But I'll hold out hope that he comes and really enjoys the year and decides to stay.

I really dont think its turning that much. Just more facts coming to light. I dont expect him to be at ND in June. But if anyone can turn it around its Brian Kelly and Co. At this point its up the EV and his family and what his life is going to be like for the next 4 years. Theres no benefit to him sitting out a year. As mentioned before Im sure, if he doesnt come to ND, he sits, then gets 3 years max to play. Heaven forbid he would get hurt that takes another year away. Thats just looking at it from a Football point. If he should end up at UCLA, that isnt a bad degree in the least, but how much will he grow up there? ND has an effect on kids that turns them into men. Not saying that it doesnt happen at other schools, and not a shot on UCLA. ND is just different. We see that maturity every year in students there. Some kids dont want to stick it out after their freshman year, yet when they do...by the time they get that degree it comes full circle. ND just needs to make him feel like he did when he committed. Sounds cliche, but if you can move across the country, make grades, play ball, and get that degree...you are set for life.

Just really unsure if BK takes him under the pretense that the kid has no option but to play at ND.(kind of backed into ND) BK often says either you want to be at ND or you don't. I coach the kids who want to be here.

Only if it turns 180 degrees my friend.

Well, maybe yes, maybe no. Is the point a sphere or a circle? Are the sides lines or planes? Can the point "jump" a finite distance (X) or an infinite distance (X∞)? If so the range of the rotation can be a value between Y and Z.

And which side came first?

Now that, my friend is a question with possibly an infinite number of variables. We have a finite alphabet, although there are an infinite number of numbers.

Oh, hell. It's time for another glass of burgundy.
