are Drake Harris and Wilton Speight really driving out to New Jersey to go to Peppers' announcement? That's crazy if true.

The visit to PSU has been canceled, but the "surprise" visit to Rutgers is still on. Maybe that's why Gerry switched his pick? I have a hard time seeing Hamilton having some kind of inside info or track on this. He covers primarily Texas and parts of the Southeast. If it was Witflong or a guy from the region from another service like Mike Farrell then I might buy it a little more. I think this is probably just a case of Hamilton wanting to be different.

Who knows though, stranger things have happened. Not surprised the PSU visit was taken off the table, Peppers doesn't seem like the type of kid who would go to a program that won't be eligible for 2 of his 4 years to play in bowl games.

This was more or less expected correct? The timing of it just stings a little more. If anything Peppers is just trolling us with the timing of his commitment......Mods ban hammer?

Other than Pennsylvania, Michigan is the worst state in the union. I wouldn't step foot in Michigan for less than $1,000,000. Hope the lake swallows the whole place.

Been there bro. ND vs. UM 2010 - I sat by myself because I was so cool.

The skunkbears' biggest detractor is its student body. It's comprised of self righteous asshats who worship a bigot who tried as hard as he could to blackball ND.

I have the displeasure of going to law school with some of them. I didn't care about um at all until I met these people. They're the worst.

We just have the worst governor in the country. I'm sure there has to be at least one more state worse than Michigan, not many but at least one more. And when the lake swallows the state, do you think it could be convinced to spare the few Notre Dame fans who live here?

Not to change the subject of you all wallowing in your state's shortcomings, BUT I was just talking to a Michigan fan over the weekend, who had to bring up the Everett affair. And instead of succumb to the taunting, "ND recruits guys that are not academically prepared!" I congratulated him on landing Peppers. He went off on the (arrogant) tangent of how he hopes that Hoke and Mattison are the coaches he thinks they are and take control over Peppers and turn him in to all that he can be by instilling discipline, etc, so on and so forth. I just said, yeah, based on history, they may have their hands full, as he appears rather headstrong. Then this guy, other Michigan fans and some Buckeye fans, start attacking ND for its lack of academic standards and it's poor performance academically. Buckeye and Wolverine fans, happy together!

This Michigan fan called the U of M an "elite" school and claimed only someone ignorant would claim that Notre Dame was up to the standards of U of M.

I don't need a lot of bashing, but I would like it if someone could point me to articles showing a ND UofM comparison. As unbiased as possible. I am currently looking for everything from entrance requirements to degree value to ratings of schools to athlete graduation rates.

Ask them what they think of Jim Harbaugh. Since he threw the minority grad rate at Michigan under the bus while at Stanford that fan base has shunned him something fierce.
