'14 NJ CB Jabrill Peppers (Michigan Verbal)

Idk Wooly, there are better pure safeties and better pure OLB's out there.

Unless the Bears NEED a run-first nickle defender, which Peppers is no doubt the best in that specific regard, then there seems to be a bit more value and proven talent out there in other players.

And I'm not taking away from Peppers... his versatility creates tremendous value. I just think that value is better in college than for an NFL team.

My opinion is that Peppers should have been full-time on offense. I think he'd be a top-10 pick as a RB/WR tweener if he would have focused three years on that side of the ball. Usually, we talk about college athletes that should have switched to defense to reach their pro potential, but I think this is an instance where a really good defender could have been elite on offense.

The Bears do need a run first nickel. They also need a:

QB, RB, WR, TE, OT, G, C, DE.........

Peppers ain't worth the 3. I know it's fashionable to dump on him as of late, but what he's shown this year isn't worth much to da Bears or any team picking high.

Bro you want Peppers at 3? I love me some Jabrill Peppers but I would take Jamal Adams over him

I want Peppers, didn't say I want him at 3. I don't like anyone in this draft at 3 for the Bears. For once, I would like them to play the draft smart. Trade down... because... well...

Agree with you 100%. Would love to see us trade down and get a second and draft Jamal Adams around 10-15

Yeah, but he was seen on the sideline before the game getting worked out by the coaching staff. That was clearly said before the game. That would be a pretty big spectacle done just to hide him not wanting to play. Not a Harbaugh move whatsoever.

Like I said before, I get it... but it is highly unlikely.

He's a teenage boy. We've seen all the weird things they do while being recruited, so I wouldn't put this in the "highly unlikely" column. He may have thought it was the perfect way to erase doubts?

I thought McCaffrey had been dealing with an ankle thing all year, much like Fournette?

He was injured, but what I heard on sports radio indicated that it wasn't serious and he could have easily played in the bowl game, thus why he's taking heat and Fournette isn't.

Hooker for FS. Adams would be an upgrade over Amos, but Amos is already solid. Hooker playing free would be the ballhawk da Bears haven't had since...Mike Brown?

Are we sure he wasn't a late scratch because he had a yeast infection?

Hooker went to my high school, he didn't play football until his junior season. He actually was a baller in basketball. He helped New Castle win our first state championship in hoops. I'm glad he is leaving early so I can quit rooting for OSU, but sure hope he falls to the Steelers. Bottom line, Hooker>>>>>>>>>Peppers.

His sample was diluted. Probably won't affect his draft stock too much, but he's all over the place anyways. Some think he could go to the Bills at 10 or drop to the mid 2nd.

The original B/R alert about it yesterday said he would winter the NFL drug program. Is that mandatory after failing for a diluted test?

Why should NFL be giving players the benefit of innocence. How many guys tested at combine and two had diluted samples. Did the other guys not hydrate?

Rueben Foster failed too. Said it was because he was on meds for a stomach bug or something.

The real question is if it burned while he pissed??

We go there every Wednesday night, and it's a fun place, but it's full of loose women. My own problem with that is venereal disease, which is disabilitating right, especially for a soldier. And it's irresponsible to the rest of your unit as well, right. You've been under attack for days, there's a soldier down, he's wounded, gangrene's setting in, 'who's used all the penicillin?' 'Oh, Mark Paxon sir, he's got knobrot off some tart'

He's going to be really upset with him when he goes to the bank on Friday to cash his check. Yeah or not.
